The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of

Uzbekistan presents its compliments to the Ministry

of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and with

reference to Article 10 of the Agreement between the

Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the

Government of the Republic of Poland on extending

a credit, done in Warsaw on July 10, 2003, amended

by the Understanding between the Government of the

Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Poland on the amendment to the Agreement

between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Poland on

extending a credit which entered into force with the

date of 10 December 2004, has the honour to propose

on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan the following amendment to the above mentioned Agreement

W artykule 1 ust´p 3 zdanie: „Kredyt b´dzie wykorzystany do dnia 31 grudnia 2006 r.” zamieniç zdaniem: „Kredyt b´dzie wykorzystany do dnia 31 sierpnia 2007 r.”

In Article 1 paragraph 3 the sentence: ”The credit

shall be utilized before December 31, 2006”, will be replaced by the sentence: ”The credit shall be utilized

before August 31, 2007”.

JeÊli Ministerstwo Spraw Zagranicznych Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej potwierdzi, ˝e Rzàd Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej akceptuje przedstawionà powy˝ej propozycj´, Ministerstwo Spraw Zagranicznych Republiki

Uzbekistanu proponuje, aby niniejsza nota i nota z odpowiedzià Rzàdu Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej stanowi∏y

If the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of

Poland conforms that the foregoing proposal is acceptable to the Government of the Republic of Poland,

the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan proposes that this note together with the note constituting the response of the Government of the

Republic of Poland shall constitute the Understanding

between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Poland on

the amendment to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Poland on extending

a credit, dated July 10, 2003.

Ministerstwo Spraw Zagranicznych Republiki Uzbekistanu rozumie przez to, ˝e wy˝ej wymienione

porozumienie wejdzie w ˝ycie zgodnie z artyku∏em 10

wy˝ej wymienionej umowy.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of

Uzbekistan understands that the Understanding mentioned above shall enter into force according to the

Article 10 of the Agreement mentioned above.

and the above cited note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated December 16,

2006 No 05/23932 has the honour to convey that the

Government of the Republic of Poland has accepted

the above mentioned proposal and considers that this

note and the note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of

the Republic of Uzbekistan constitute the Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the amendment to the Agreement between

the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on extending

a credit, done on July 10, 2003 in Warsaw. The Understanding shall come into force on the date of receipt of

the present note by the Uzbek Side.
