of the Republic of Estonia, hereinafter referred to as the „Parties”, desiring to develop and strengthen

cultural ties between the two countries, pursuant to the provisions of

the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland

and the Government of the Republic of Estonia on Cultural and

Scientific Cooperation signed in

Tallinn on 2 July 1992, and desiring

to further develop their mutual cooperation,

contacts in fine arts by inviting art

experts and critics of the other Party to major exhibitions and artistic

events.

3. The Parties shall promote, in

particular, the existing cooperation

between centres of contemporary

art in Poland and in Estonia, including exchanges of artists and curators, joint exhibition projects, organisation and joint participation in

international symposia and other

artistic events.

organized in both countries.

1. The Parties shall promote direct cooperation and contacts between Polish and Estonian organisations and institutions in the field

of cinematography, including cinematographic coproductions.

other Party to musical events.

Jesieƒ” i Festiwal NYYD.

nüüdismuusika festivalidele (vastavalt „Varssavi sügis” ja Nyyd-festival).

2. The Parties shall agree on observers to be invited every year to

the International Festival of Contemporary Music ”Warsaw Autumn” and the NYYD Festival.

3. Strony b´dà wspólnie wspieraç Konkurs Chopinowski dla M∏odych Pianistów z Paƒstw Rejonu

Morza Ba∏tyckiego w Narvie. Konkurs b´dzie odbywaç si´ w cyklu

dwuletnim na prze∏omie stycznia

i lutego.

3. Pooled jätkavad ühiselt Fryderyk Chopini loomingule pühendatud rahvusvahelise Läänemeremaade noorte pianistide konkursi

korraldamise toetamist Narvas.

Konkurss toimub igal teisel aastal

jaanuaris-veebruaris.

3. The Parties shall mutually

support the International Fr. Chopin Competition of Young Pianists

from the Baltic Sea States in Narva.

The competition will take place

every second year in January-February.

4. Minister Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego Rzeczypospolitej

Polskiej b´dzie fundowa∏ nagrod´

g∏ównà, przeznaczonà dla jednego

z laureatów Konkursu Chopinowskiego w Narvie i jednoczeÊnie jego nauczyciela.

4. Poola Vabariigi kultuuri- ja

rahvapärandi minister välja peaauhinna Fryderyk Chopini loomingule pühendatud Läänemeremaade

noorte pianistide konkursi ühele

laureaadile ja tema juhendajale.

4. The Minister of Culture and

National Heritage of the Republic

of Poland shall fund the main prize

to be awarded to one of the winners of the Chopin Competition in

Narva and to his/her teacher.

Strony b´dà wspieraç t∏umaczenia i publikacje dzie∏ literackich

drugiej Strony. W tym celu b´dà

wspieraç wymian´ t∏umaczy, twórców i krytyków literackich oraz b´dà zach´ca∏y do udzia∏u w wystawach i targach ksià˝ki w obu krajach.

Pooled aitavad kaasa teise Poole kirjandusteoste tõlkimisele ja

avaldamisele. Sel eesmärgil toetavad Pooled tõlkijate, kirjanike ja

kirjanduskriitikute vahetust ning

soodustavad osavõttu kummalgi

maal toimuvaist raamatumessidest

ja -näitustest.

The Parties shall support translations and publications of literary

works of the other Party. To this,

end, they will support the exchange of translators, writers and literary critics and shall foster participation in book exhibitions and fairs of

the two countries.

koostöölepingule.

1. The Parties shall support cooperation between the National Libraries of Poland and Estonia pursuant to the existing agreement between the two institutions.

2. Strony b´dà popieraç wspó∏prac´ bibliotek publicznych.

2. Pooled toetavad rahvaraamatukogude vahelist koostööd.

2. The Parties shall support cooperation between public libraries.

The Parties shall support cooperation between museums in

the fields of common interest. Every year the Parties shall exchange

teineteist kummalgi maal toimuvatest folkloorifestivalidest ja muudest üritustest.

1. The Parties shall promote cooperation in the field of folk culture, by informing each other about

folklore festivals and other events

in this field organised in both countries.

wzajemnoÊci zespo∏y folklorystyczne

na mi´dzynarodowych festiwalach

folkloru, organizowanych w obu krajach. Strony wymienià specjalistów

z dziedziny kultury ludowej.

2. Pooled vahetavad vastastikkuse põhimõttel rahvakunstiansambleid osalemiseks mõlemal

maal korraldatavatel rahvusvahelistel folkloorifestivalidel, samuti

spetsialiste rahvakultuuri alal.

folklore groups at international

folklore festivals organized in both

countries, on the basis of reciprocity. The Parties shall exchange specialists in the field of folk culture.

Strony, na zasadach wynikajàcych z przepisów obowiàzujàcych

w obu paƒstwach, do∏o˝à staraƒ,

aby dobra kultury nielegalnie wywiezione z terytorium Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej i Republiki Estoƒskiej oraz nielegalnie wwiezione

na terytorium Republiki Estoƒskiej

i Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej podlega∏y zwrotowi.

Pooled, lähtudes kummalgi

maal kehtivatest õigusaktidest,

astuvad samme selleks, et kindlustada ebaseaduslikult Eesti Vabariigi või Poola Vabariigi territooriumilt väljaviidud ja ebaseaduslikult

Poola Vabariigi või Eesti Vabariigi

territooriumile sissetoodud kultuuriväärtuste tagastamine.

The Parties, pursuant to the

provisions of law of both states,

shall take measures to return cultural property illegally exported from

the territory of the Republic of Poland or the Republic of Estonia and

illegally imported to the territory of

the Republic of Estonia or the Republic of Poland.

Kultury w Gdaƒsku, gdzie mieÊci

si´ Sekretariat „Ars Baltica”.

Pooled toetavad vastavalt oma

võimalustele projekte Läänemeremaade koostööfoorumi „Ars Baltica” raames, tehes tihedat koostööd Gdanski Balti Kultuurikeskusega, kus paikneb „Ars Baltica”

sekretariaat.

The Parties, according to their

possibilities, shall support projects

undertaken within the framework

of the ”Ars Baltica”, the Baltic Sea

forum for multilateral cultural cooperation, in close collaboration

with the Baltic Sea Culture Centre

in Gdaƒsk, where the Secretariat of

„Ars Baltica” is located.

The Parties shall support cooperation between the Adam Mickiewicz Institute in Warsaw and the

Estonian Institute in Tallinn.

The Parties shall inform each

other about the cultural life in their

respective countries and about the

enacted laws and regulations concerning culture. To this end, the Parties shall exchange specialists in

different fields of culture (up to five

people annually for five-day stays).

upon the following conditions of

exchanging delegations

a) Strona delegujàca b´dzie pokrywa∏a koszty podró˝y do Tallina (lub odpowiednio: do Warszawy) i z powrotem,

a) lähetav Pool katab delegatsioonide sõidukulud Varssavini

(resp. Tallinnani) ja tagasi;

a) the sending Party shall cover

the costs of travel to Tallinn

(and, respectively, to Warsaw)

and back;

b) Strona przyjmujàca b´dzie pokrywa∏a koszty zakwaterowania oraz ewentualnie inne

koszty w granicach swojego

kraju, zgodnie z uzgodnionym

programem delegacji i miejscowymi taryfami,

b) vastuvõttev Pool katab majutuskulud, võimalusel ka muud

kulud oma maa piires vastavalt

delegatsiooni kokkulepitud programmmile ja kohalikele normidele;

b) the receiving Party shall cover

the costs of accommodation

and possibly other costs within

the boundaries of its country

according to the agreed programme of the delegationand

in conformity with local tariffs;

osoby uczestniczàce w wymianie obj´tej niniejszym porozumieniem b´dà ubezpieczone

na wypadek choroby lub nieszcz´Êliwego wypadku.

that people who participate in

the exchange covered by this

Agreement shall be provided

with health and accident insurance.

of artists and art exhibitions, the

agreed upon by a separate agreement between the organisers.

Agreement, all projects commenced shall continue to be implemented until they are concluded in compliance with the provisions hereof.

3. Every two years, the Parties

shall organise working meetings of

representatives of the Ministries of

Culture in order to discuss the state of the implementation of the

Agreement.

Article 18

Porozumienie wejdzie w ˝ycie

z dniem otrzymania ostatniego powiadomienia, w którym Strony powiadomià siebie nawzajem o zakoƒczeniu wewn´trznych procedur

prawnych wymaganych dla jego

wejÊcia w ˝ycie.

Kokkulepe jõustub päeval, kui

mõlemad Pooled on teist Poolt kirjalikult

teavitanud

kokkuleppe

jõustamiseks nõutava riigisisese

menetluse lõpetamisest.

This Agreement shall enter into

force on the date of the receipt of

the last notification, in which the

Parties notify each other on the

completion of internal legal procedures, required for its entry into

force.

Niniejsze porozumienie mo˝e

zostaç zmienione lub zmodyfikowane na podstawie pisemnej zgody obu Stron.

Kokkulepet võib muuta või

täiendada Poolte kirjalikul kokkuleppel.

This Agreement may be amended or modified by mutual consent

of the Parties in writing.
