The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of

Uzbekistan presents its compliments to the The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and,

with reference to Article 13 of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and

the Government of the Republic of Poland on extending a tied aid credit, done on July 10, 2003 in Warsaw, has the honour to propose on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan the following

amendment to this Agreement

W artykule 1 ust´p 2 zdanie: „Kredyt b´dzie wykorzystany w ciàgu dwóch lat od dnia wejÊcia w ˝ycie niniejszej umowy i okres ten mo˝e zostaç przed∏u˝ony

In Article 1 paragraph 2 the sentence: ”The Credit

will be utilised within two years since the date of coming into force of the Agreement and this period may

If the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of

Poland confirms that the foregoing proposal is acceptable to the Government of the Republic of Poland, the

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan proposes that this note together with the note

constituting the response of the Government of the

Republic of Poland shall constitute the Understanding

between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Poland on

the amendment to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Poland on extending

a tied aid credit, dated July 10, 2003.

Ministerstwo Spraw Zagranicznych Republiki Uzbekistanu rozumie przez to, ˝e wy˝ej wymienione porozumienie wejdzie w ˝ycie zgodnie z artyku∏em

13 umowy.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of

Uzbekistan understands that the Understanding mentioned above shall enter into force according to the

Article 13 of the Agreement.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of

Poland with reference to Article 13 of the Agreement

between the Government of the Republic of Poland

and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on

extending a tied aid credit, done on July 10, 2003 in

Warsaw and the above cited note of the Ministry of

Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated

July 14, 2005 No 05/12524 has the honor to convey

that the Government of the Republic of Poland has accepted the above mentioned proposal and considers

that this note and the note of the Ministry of Foreign

Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan constitute the

Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the Republic of

Uzbekistan on the amendment of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and

the Republic of Uzbekistan on extending a tied aid credit, done on July 10, 2003 in Warsaw. The Understanding shall come into force on the date of receipt of the

present note by the Uzbek Side.
