Understanding, on the one hand, and the Government

of the Republic of Poland represented by the Minister

of National Defence, on the other hand,

having regard to

— Section XI “Admission of New Members” of the

EUROPA Memorandum of Understanding signed

in Brussels on 15 May 2001;

— stanowcze zainteresowanie wyra˝one przez Polsk´

uczestnictwem we wspó∏pracy w zakresie badaƒ

naukowych i technologii (R&T) w ramach Porozumienia EUROPA;

Rozdzia∏ I

Section I

1. Po podpisaniu niniejszej poprawki, Rzeczpospolita Polska stanie si´ cz∏onkiem Porozumienia

EUROPA.

1. After signature of this Amendment, the Republic

of Poland becomes a Participant in the EUROPA Memorandum of Understanding.

2. Porozumienie EUROPA zostaje poprawione, jak

nast´puje: na stronie tytu∏owej i w preambule,

w pierwszym ust´pie wprowadza si´ wyrazy: „Rzàd

Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej reprezentowany przez Ministra Obrony Narodowej” po wyrazach „Minister Obrony Królestwa Norwegii”.

2. The EUROPA Memorandum of Understanding is

amended as follows on the cover page and in the preamble, first paragraph: insert “the Government of the

Republic of Poland represented by the Minister of National Defence” after “the Minister of Defence of the

Kingdom of Norway”.

Rozdzia∏ II

Section II

1. Poprawka ta wejdzie w ˝ycie w dniu z∏o˝enia poni˝ej ostatniego podpisu. B´dzie ona wa˝na przez taki

sam okres jak porozumienie, którego dotyczy. Inne postanowienia tego porozumienia niezmienione tà poprawkà pozostajà niezmienione.

1. This Amendment will come into effect from the

date of the last signature below. It will remain in effect

for the same period as the MOU which it amends.

Unless specifically amended herein, all other provisions of the MOU remain unchanged.

2. Poprawka ta jest podpisana w dwóch egzemplarzach (w j´zyku angielskim i francuskim), ka˝dy tekst

jest jednakowo wa˝ny. Teksty oryginalne b´dà przechowywane przez Komórk´ Badawczà Zachodnioeuropejskiej Organizacji ds. Uzbrojenia (WEAO) dla potwierdzenia prawdziwoÊci kopii, które b´dà rozes∏ane

do wszystkich Uczestników.

2. This Amendment is signed in two copies (English and French), each text being equally valid. The

original texts will be retained by the WEAO Research

Cell and a certified true copy will be sent to all Participants.
