This Convention shall be binding only upon those

Should the Conference . adopt . a new Convention

revising the Convention in whole of in part, then, unless

the new Convention otherwise provides,

As soon as the ratifications of twa Members of the

International Labour Organisation have been registered

with the Secretariat, the Secretary-General of the

League of Nations shaIl so notify alI the Members of

the international Labour Organisation. He shall Iikewise notify them of the registration of ratifications

which may be communicated subsequentIy by other

Members of the Organisation.

28.

At the expiration of each period of ten years after

the com ing into force of this Convention, the Governing Body of the International Labour Office shaIl present to the General Conference a report on the working of this Convention and shall consider the desirability of placing on the Agendaof the Conference the

question of its revision in whole ar in part.

Thereafter, this Conven~ion shalI come into force

for any Member twelve months after the date on whkh

its ratification has been registered.

(a) the ratification by a Member of the new revisin g Convention shalI ipso jure involve the

immediate denunciation of tbis Convention,

notwithstanding the provisions of ArticIe 27

above, if and when the new revising Convention shaIl have come into force;

(b) as from the · date when the new revlsmg Convention comes into force, tbis Convention shaIl

cease to be opel'l to ratification by too Members. ·

A Member which has ratified this Convention. may

denounce it after the expi~ation of ten years from the

date on which the Convention first com es into force,

by an act communicated to the Secretary-General of

the League of Nations for registration. Su ch denunciation shaIl not tak e eHect unti! one year after the date

on which it is registered with the Secretariat.

Each Member which has ratified this Convention

and which does not, within the year folIowing the expi~

in its actual form and content for those Members which
