1 Protocol 2, gehecht aan de Universele Auteursrecht-Conventie, zoals herzien te Parijs op 24 juli 1971, inzake de toepassing van de Conventie op werken van bepaalde internationale organisaties

(a) The protection provided for in Article II (1) of the 1971 Convention shall apply to works published for the first time by the United Nations, by the Specialized Agencies in relationship therewith, or by the Organization of American States.

(b) Similarly, Article II (2) of the 1971 Convention shall apply to the said organizations or agencies.

De bescherming, bedoeld in het eerste lid van artikel II van de Conventie van 1971, is van toepassing op werken, welke voor het eerst gepubliceerd zijn door de Verenigde Naties, door de daarmede verbonden gespecialiseerde organisaties of door de Organisatie van Amerikaanse Staten.

Het tweede lid van artikel II van de Conventie van 1971 is eveneens van toepassing op bovengenoemde organisaties.

(a) This Protocol shall be signed and shall be subject to ratification or acceptance, or may be acceded to, as if the provisions of Article VIII of the 1971 Convention applied hereto.

(b) This Protocol shall enter into force for each State on the date of deposit of the instrument of ratification, acceptance or accession of the State concerned or on the date of entry into force of the 1971 Convention with respect to such State, whichever is the later.

Dit Protocol zal worden ondertekend en moet worden bekrachtigd of aanvaard door de ondertekenende Staten; toetreding is mogelijk, overeenkomstig de bepalingen van artikel VIII van de Conventie van 1971.

Dit Protocol treedt voor iedere Staat in werking op de datum van de nederlegging van de akte van bekrachtiging, aanvaarding of toetreding door de betrokken Staat, mits deze Staat reeds partij is bij de Conventie van 1971.
