1 Dit Aanvullend Protocol staat open voor ondertekening door de Lid-Staten van de Raad van Europa die de Overeenkomst hebben ondertekend en die overeenkomstsluitende Partij bij het Aanvullend Protocol kunnen worden door: a. ondertekening zonder voorbehoud van bekrachtiging, aanvaarding of goedkeuring, of b. ondertekening onder voorbehoud van bekrachtiging, aanvaarding of goedkeuring, gevolgd door bekrachtiging, aanvaarding of goedkeuring.

2 Staten die tot de Overeenkomst zijn toegetreden kunnen eveneens tot dit Aanvullend Protocol toetreden.

3 Akten van bekrachtiging, aanvaarding, goedkeuring of toetreding dienen te worden nedergelegd bij de Secretaris-Generaal van de Raad van Europa.

1 This Additional Protocol is open to signature by the member States of the Council of Europe which have signed the Convention, which may become Contracting Parties to this Additional Protocol by: a. signature without reservation in respect of ratification, acceptance or approval, followed by ratification, acceptance or approval. b. signature with reservation in respect of ratification, acceptance or approval, followed by ratification, acceptance or approval.

2 States which have acceded to the Convention may also accede to this Additional Protocol.

3 Instruments of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession shall be deposited with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe.

Dit Aanvullend Protocol treedt in werking zodra alle Overeenkomstsluitende Partijen bij de Overeenkomst partij zijn geworden bij het Aanvullend Protocol overeenkomstig de bepalingen van artikel 4.

This Additional Protocol shall enter into force as soon as all the Contracting Parties to the Convention have become Parties to this Additional Protocol in accordance with Article 4.

Vanaf de datum van inwerkingtreding maakt dit Aanvullend Protocol wezenlijk deel uit van de Overeenkomst. Vanaf die datum kan geen Staat Overeenkomstsluitende Partij worden bij de Overeenkomst zonder tegelijkertijd overeenkomstsluitende Partij te worden bij het Aanvullend Protocol.

From the date of its entry into force, this Additional Protocol shall form an integral part of the Convention. From that date, no member State may become a Contracting Party to the Convention without at the same time becoming a Contracting Party to this Additional Protocol.

De Secretaris-Generaal van de Raad van Europa geeft de Lid-Staten van de Raad van Europa, de andere Partijen bij de Overeenkomst en de Commissie van de Europese Economische Gemeenschap kennis van

iedere ondertekening zonder voorbehoud van bekrachtiging, aanvaarding of goedkeuring;

iedere ondertekening onder voorbehoud van bekrachtiging, aanvaarding of goedkeuring;

de nederlegging van iedere akte van bekrachtiging, aanvaarding, goedkeuring of toetreding;

de datum van inwerkingtreding van dit Aanvullend Protocol overeenkomstig artikel 5 ervan.

The Secretary General of the Council of Europe shall notify the member States of the Council of Europe, the other Parties to the Convention and the Commission of the European Economic Community of

any signature without reservation in respect of ratification, acceptance or approval;

any signature with reservation in respect of ratification, acceptance or approval;

any deposit of an instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession;

any date of entry into force of this Additional Protocol in accordance with Article 5 thereof.
