TRAFFIC OFFENCE TICKET REGULATIONS

LEGAL NOTICE 52 of 1981, as amended by Legal Notice 184 of 1999.

The title of these Regulations is Traffic Offence Ticket

Regulations.

The notice to be handed over to the owner or driver, or to

be affixed to the windscreen of, a motor vehicle used in the

commission of such an offence as is referred to in the First and

Second Schedules to the Traffic Regulation Ordinance shall contain

the following

(a) general description of the offence;

(b) particulars of the motor

vehicle

used

in

the

commission of the offence;

(c) place, time and date of the offence;

(d) signature of the Police officer handing over or affixing

the notice;

(e) information as to payment of fine (multa).
