LEGAL NOTICE 137 of 2017.

The title of these regulations is the Arbiter for

Financial Services (Designation of ADR Entity)

Regulations.

In these regulations, unless the context

otherwise requires

"ADR" means Alternative Dispute Resolution.

The Minister for Finance hereby appoints the

Office of the Arbiter for Financial Services as Malta’s

ADR entity for financial services which qualifies and is to

be considered as the ADR entity for financial services

falling within the scope of Directive 2013/11/EU of the

European Parliament and of the Council on alternative

dispute resolution for consumer disputes.
