FEES FOR COPIES OF MANUSCRIPTS

REGULATIONS

and Act VII of 2011.

The title of these regulations is Fees for Copies of

Manuscripts Regulations.

(Regulation 2)

Fee

1. For copies or extracts from records

conserved in any library to which the Malta Libraries

Act applies, for every 100 words or any part thereof

Provided that, where any such copy or extract

refers to records prior to 1650, the Librarian shall

charge such fee as he shall deem fit, which fee shall

in no case exceed one lira for every 100 words or any

part thereof.

2. For the authentication by the Librarian of

any copy or extract

There shall be charged by the Librarian for copies or

extracts from records kept in any public library, and for their

authentication, the fees set out in the Schedule

Provided that the Librarian may, at his discretion, require

from any person asking for any such copy or extract such deposit as

the said Librarian may fix in each particular case.
