CREATIVE MALTA SCHEME REGULATIONS

LEGAL NOTICE 357 of 2022.

The title of these regulations is the Creative Malta

Scheme Regulations.

In these regulations, unless the context otherwise

requires

"Act" means the Malta Film Commission Act;

"applicant" means the same as the meaning assigned to it

by the guidelines;

"Commission" means the Malta Film Commission

established by article 3 of the Act;

"Commissioner" means the Malta Film Commissioner

appointed under article 5(1) of the Act;

"Creative Malta Scheme" means the scheme set up in

accordance with the guidelines which may provide assistance in

terms of these regulations;

"guidelines" means such guidelines as may be published

by the Commission from time to time in terms of the Act;

"project" means the same as the meaning assigned to it

by the guidelines.

Where the Commission is satisfied that both the

applicant and the project are eligible for assistance as prescribed under

the guidelines, the Commission may provide assistance in accordance

with the terms and conditions set out in the guidelines.

Applications for assistance to support any eligible

applicants shall reach the Commission by the 31st October 2023.

(2)

No assistance under these regulations shall be awarded

by the Commission after the 31st December 2023.
