BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (2024) REGULATIONS

The title of these

regulations

is

the

Business

Development (2024) Regulations.

In these regulations, unless the context otherwise

requires

"Act" means the Malta Enterprise Act;

"Corporation" means the Malta Enterprise as established

by article 7 of the Act;

"eligible undertaking" shall have the same meaning as

assigned to it by the Guidelines;

"Guidelines" means the Guidelines as may be published

by the Corporation from time to time in accordance with the

Act, establishing the parameters of implementing the aid

granted by these regulations.

Where the Corporation is satisfied that an

undertaking carrying on or intending to carry out an activity to

contribute to the economic development of Malta, requires assistance

to facilitate the investment, the Corporation may support such an

undertaking with a tax credit and, or a cash grant that may not exceed

three hundred-thousand euro (€300,000) over a period of three (3)

years in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the

Guidelines.

The Corporation shall establish application

submission periods, which periods shall be published on the

Corporation's website.

(2)

No assistance shall be granted by the Corporation under

these regulations after the 31 st December 2030.
