CERTAIN PROVISIONS) ORDER

LEGAL NOTICE 117 of 2004.
The title of this Order is the European Parliament
(Suspension of Certain Provisions) Order.
Notwithstanding anything contained in the European
Parliament Elections Act, during the period between the 1st May,
2004 and the beginning of the 2004-2009 term of the European
Parliament, members of the House of Representatives may sit as
Members of the European Parliament and any provision of the
European Parliament Elections Act to the contrary shall, during
such period, be suspended and shall only have effect with regard to
the election of members of the European Parliament to be held in
June 2004 and subsequent elections.
