REGISTER AND ROLL OF NURSES

(SPECIAL PARTS) REGULATIONS

LEGAL NOTICE 49 of 1984, as amended by Legal Notice 13 of 1994.

The title of these Regulations is Register and Roll of

Nurses (Special Parts) Regulations.

For the register of nurses there shall be special parts which

shall be designated as follows

(a) register of nurses qualified in the nursing of patients

suffering from mental illness. (registered nurses for

the mentally sick);

(b) register of nurses qualified in the nursing of mentally

handicapped patients. (registered nurses for the

mentally handicapped);

(c) register of nurses qualified in the nursing of sick

children. (registered nurses for sick children);

(d) register of nurses trained in adult nursing.

For the roll of nurses there shall be special parts which

shall be designated as follows

(a) roll of nurses qualified in the nursing of patients

suffering from mental illness. (enrolled nurses for the

mentally sick);

(b) roll of nurses qualified in the nursing of mentally

handicapped patients. (enrolled nurses for the mentally

handicapped);

(c) roll of nurses qualified in the nursing of sick children.
