PROPERTY) ORDER (2011)

The title of this order is the SportMalta (Transfer of
Designated Property) Order (2011).

As from 1st July, 2010
Sites ‘G’- ‘H’- ‘I’- ‘J’ and ‘K’ around Football Ground at Santa Lucia registered as
property numbers E21590, E21591, E21592, E21593 and E21594 respectively
having an area of approximately 136 m 2 45 m 2 , 48 m 2 , 1027 m 2 and 990 m 2
respectively, bounded on the North, South East and West by Government Property
as indicated edged in red on plan P.D. 127A_97.
As from 1st October, 2010
Football Pitch and Ancillary facilities at Tignè Point, Sliema registered as Property no.
E21472, having an area of approximately 8,970 square metres at Level 1 and 1,618 square
metres at Levels 0 and -1 respectively, bounded on the North East, South East and South
West by the property of MIDI plc as indicated edged in red on plan P.D. 2010_247_A.
As from 1st January, 2009;
The Bowling Pitch and Club at Vittoriosa registered as Tenement No: G28031
having an area of approximately two hundred eighty one square metres and thirty
seven decimal point five square metres respectively, and bounded on the North East
by Observer Street, on the South East by Saint Scholastica Street and on the North
West by Observer Street or more correct boundaries as indicated edged in red and
green on L.D.78/83.
As from 1st January, 2009
A plot of land at St. Venera registered as Tenement No: G28022 having an area of
approximately 40 square metres at basement level, 363 square metres at ground floor
level, 109 square metres at first floor level and 103 square metres at roof level,
bounded on the East and West by Government property and on the North by private
property as indicated by letter A and edged in red on P.D. 2007 _117.
As from 1st January, 2010

Property no:G09017, having an area of approximately 213 square metres in Level
‘0’, 222 square meters in level ‘1’ and 215 square meters in level ‘2’, bounded on the
North West by St Publius Street, North East by Market Street, and South East by
property of unknown owners as indicated edged in red on P.D. no.2010_494.
As from 1st January, 2011
The Bowling Club and Pitch at Valletta registered as Tenement No: G28028 having an
area of approximately hundred and twenty two square metres and three hundred and
forty two square metres respectively, and bounded on the North by Mediterranean
Street, on the West by Government property and on the North West by Mediterranean
Street as indicated edged in red on L.D.273/88.
As from 1st January, 2011
Site for playing field and underlying indoor Boċċi Club at School Street, St Paul’s Bay,
registered as Property No: E21490, having an area of approximately nine hundred and
thirty-two square metres (932 m 2 ) and bounded on the North, South, East and West by
Government property as indicated edged in red on P.D.2010_685 A.
As from 1st January, 2011
The site at Kalkara registered as Tenement No: E26317 having an area of approximately
one hundred fifty-eight square metres (158 m 2 ) and bounded on the North, West and
South by Government property as indicated edged in red on P.D.2011_184.
As from 1st July, 2010
Site at Gioacchino Le Brun Street, Pembroke, registered as Property No. E21436 having an
area of approximately four hundred and thirty square metres (430m 2 ) and bounded on the
North, South, East and West by Government property as indicated edged in red on
P.D.2010_557.
As from 1st January, 2011
The bowling pitch and club at Martin Luther King Street, Fgura registered as
Tenement No: G28034 having an area of approximately six hundred and eighty
seven square metres (687m 2 ) and bounded on the North, West and South by
Government property as indicated edged in red on P.D.2011_139.
As from 1st January, 2011
The bowling pitch and club at Venerabbli Nazju Falzon Street, Laqxija Housing Estate
Birkirkara registered as Tenement No: G28032 having an area of approximately seven
hundred twenty-four square metres (724m 2 ) and bounded on the North, West and South
by Government property as indicated edged in red on P.D.2011_100.
As from 1st January, 2010
A plot of land at Mellieħa registered as Tenement No. 96098 having an area of
approximately 17162 square metres and bounded on the North, South and West by
Government property as indicated edged in red on P.D.131_2001.
The properties described in the Schedule are hereby being
designated for the purpose of the enjoyment, possession, use and
management of all rights and obligations performing to such
designated property in terms of article 16 of the Sports Act.
The designated properties referred to in article 2 shall be
transferred and vest in SportMalta as provided in the article
aforesaid with effect from the dates specified in the Schedule.
