SPORTMALTA (TRANSFER OF DESIGNATED
PROPERTY) ORDER (2010)

LEGAL NOTICES 66, 86, 122, 489, 490, 491, 492 and 493 of 2010,
consolidated, and as amended by Act VI of 2016.
The title of this order is the SportMalta (Transfer of
Designated Property) Order (2010).

As from 1st January, 2010
A plot of land at Triq Ħal Farruġ, Ħal Farruġ, limits of Luqa registered as Property
no. E 21112, having an area of approximately 22,317 square metres, bounded on
the North-West by Triq Ħal Farruġ, North-East and South-East by Government
property as indicated edged in red on P.D. no.2009_651. The site is subject to third
party servitude.
As from 1st January, 2010
A plot of land (football ground) at Xgħajra registered as Tenement No: E20655,
having an area of approximately 5160 square metres, bounded on the North, West
and East by unknown owners as indicated edged in red on P.D. 2009_32.
As from 1st January, 2010
A plot of land at Paola registered as Tenement No: E21191 having an area of
approximately 9,076 square metres, including the underground water reservoir and
excluding existing underground structures/tunnels, bounded on the North-West, West
and on the East by Government property as indicated edged in red on P.D. 2010 _12.
As from 1st January, 2010
Site off Alamein Road, Pembroke registered as Property no.G 31065, having an area
of approximately 180 square metres, bounded on the North, South and West by
Government property as indicated edged in red on P.D. no.2010_332.
As from 1st January, 2010
A site at Birkirkara known as ‘Għar il-Ġobon’ registered as Tenement no. J20189
having an area of approximately 7000 squaremetres and bounded on the East by
Government property, on the South West by Dun Karm Street, and on the North West
by private property or more correct boundaries as indicated edged in red on Plan
P.D.70/2000.
As from 1st January, 2010

Stores "L" and "N" "Bruno Stores" at Kalkara Wharf, Kalkara registered as Property
no.73964, having an area of approximately 441 square metres, bounded on the
North, South, East and West by Government property as indicated edged in red on
P.D. no.343_73_B.
As from 1st June, 2010
A structure within the Salina National Park at St. Paul’s Bay registered as Tenement
No: E21420, having an area of approximately 41 square metres and bounded on the
North, South and East by Government property as indicated edged in red on P.D.
2010_526.
The properties described in the Schedule are hereby being
designated for the purpose of the enjoyment, possession, use and
management of all rights and obligations performing to such
designated property in terms of article 16 of the Sports Act.
The designated properties referred to in article 2 shall be
transferred and vest in SportMalta as provided in the article
aforesaid with effect from the dates specified in the Schedule.
