LEATHER GOODS AND SHOES INDUSTRIES

WAGES COUNCIL ORDER

17th September, 1965

LEGAL NOTICE 45 of 1965, as amended by Legal Notice 27 of 1967.

The title of this Order is Leather Goods and Shoes Industries

Wages Council Order.

There shall be a Leather Goods and Shoes Industries

Wages Council which shall operate for all employees in any

undertaking or in any part of an undertaking, the activities of which

consist wholly or mainly in the following

(a) the manufacture and processing of leather, leather

goods, including the manufacture of handbags and

gloves; and

(b) the manufacture of boots, shoes, sandals and other

footwear, as well as of luggage, brief-cases, hand-

bags, shopping bags and other bags of a similar nature.

Notice of the intention to make this Order was published in

the Gazette of the 25th May, 1965.
