COLLECTION OF DATA CONCERNING

COMPETITIONS FOR EQUIDAE REGULATIONS *

LEGAL NOTICE 307 of 2003.

(1) The title of these regulations is the Collection of Data

Concerning Competitions for Equidae Regulations.

(2) The scope of these regulations is to implement the

provisions found under European Commission Decision 92/216/

EEC on the collection of data concerning competitions for equidae

as referred to in Article 4(2) of Council Directive 90/428/EEC.

(1) In the territory of Malta, there shall be appointed a co-

ordinating authority responsible for collecting the data concerning -

(a) competitions as referred to in the first indent of article

4(2) of European Union Council Directive 90/428/

EEC organised in the territory of Malta,

(b) the criteria for the distribution of funds provided for in

the third subparagraph of the second indent of the said

article 4(2).

(2) The competent authority of Malta shall communicate to the

European Commission the name and address of the co-ordinating

authority appointed in accordance with subregulation (1).
