GOVERNMENT STOCK 2016

FIRST ISSUE

LEGAL NOTICE 43 of 2001, as amended by Legal Notice 426 of 2007.

The title of this Directive is Directive by the Minister of

Finance for the issue of €69,881,201.96 6.65% Malta Government

Stock 2016.

The stock shall be issued as set out in the prospectus.

All persons and, or entities are eligible to apply for this

stock. Allotment will be applied as set out in the prospectus.

An application for the stock to be placed on the official list

and for trading on the Malta Stock Exchange will be made in terms

of the Financial Markets Act, when the stock has been allotted.

The sum of money to be raised by the stock shall be

€69,881,201.96

Interest at the rate of €3.325 for every €100 stock will be

payable half-yearly in arrear on the 28th day of March and on the

28th day of September in every year for the duration of the stock.

The first payment covering the period from the 29th day of March,

2001 to the 28th day of September, 2001 shall be made on the 28th

day of September, 2001.

The stock shall be redeemed at par on such date between

the 1st January, 2016 and the 31st December, 2016 (both dates

inclusive) as shall be determined by the Accountant General and

notified in the Gazette.
