HEALTH PROFESSIONS COURSE SYLLABI AND/

OR PROGRAMME OF STUDY REGULATIONS

LEGAL NOTICE 215 of 2005, as amended by Legal Notice 247 of 2021.

The title of these regulations is the Health Professions

Course Syllabi and/or Programme of Study Regulations.

These regulations shall be applicable

to

courses

commencing from 15th May, 2021 onwards.

The syllabi and/or programmes of study related to courses

leading to an award that gives access to the professions of

(a) Medical Doctor

(b) Dental Surgeon

(c) Pharmacist

(d) Nurse; and

(e) Midwife

shall conform with the minimum training requirements established by

the relative European Union Directive 2005/36/EC and with any other

Maltese legislation governing the granting of permission to practise the

relevant profession in Malta.
