DEREGISTRATION AREAS ORDER

LEGAL NOTICE 73 of 2022.

The title of this order is the Deregistration Areas Order.

In this order, unless the context otherwise requires

"Act" means the Land Registration Act.

The areas shown outlined with a non-continuous thick

line on the map for Gozo numbered G48 contained in the Schedule no

longer form part of a registration area for the purposes of article 10 of

the Act.

As provided in sub-article (1) of article 16B all

registrations made in the said area shall be deemed canceled and

ineffective except for those registrations that led to a guaranteed title

in accordance with articles 21 to 25 of the Act, both articles included.

Any caution, hypothec, privilege or other right in

connection with a registration canceled in accordance with sub-article

(2) of article 16B shall also be deemed to be canceled and ineffective.
