HOUSING AUTHORITY (TRANSFER OF ASSETS)

(1985) ORDER

15th February, 1985

LEGAL NOTICES 3, 9, 20 and 51 of 1985, consolidated.

The title of this Order is the Housing Authority (Transfer

of Assets) (1985) Order.

(Article 2)

Description of the property referred to in article 2

and appointed day

1. With effect from the 15th February, 1985

(a) An area of land forming part of the Iklin Government

Housing Estate, limits of B’Kara having an area of

approximately 28 square metres which area is to be

additional to Plot No. 29 bounded on the North by a

public road, on the South and East by property of the

Housing Authority and on the West by Government

property.

(b) An area of land forming part of the M[arr Government

Housing Estate having an area of approximately 15

square metres which area is to be additional to Plot

No. 40 bounded on the North and West by Government

property, on the South by property of Salvatore Mizzi

and on the East by property of Paul Micallef.

(c) The following land forming part of the Tal-Blat II

Government Housing Estate, limits of Qormi

(i)

An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plot Nos. 1 to 7 having an area

of approximately 1606 square metres bounded

on the North, South-West and South-East by

public roads;

(ii)

An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plot Nos. 8 to 12 and 15 to 19

having an area of approximately ]990 square

metres bounded on the North, South-West and

North-West by public roads,

(iii) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

area of approximately 482 square metres bounded on

the North by property of Anthony Muscat, on the West

by property of Godfrey Vella and others and on the

South-East by Government property.

(b) An area of land forming part of the Tal-Mit]na

Government Housing Estate, limits of Gudja, having

an area of approximately 27 square metres which area

is to be additional to Plot No. 70 bounded on the North

by property of the Housing Authority and on the South

and South-West by a public road.

(c) An area of land forming part of the Ta’ Pennellu

Government Housing Estate, limits of Mellie]a having

an area of approximately 45 square metres which area

is to be additional to Plot No. 206 bounded on the

North, North-West and South-West by Government

property and on the South-East by property of

Emanuel Vella.

(d) An area of land forming part of the Is-Sg]ajtar

Government Housing Estate, limits of Naxxar having

an area of approximately 73.5 square metres which

area is to be additional to Plot No. 1 bounded on the

North-West and North-East by Government property,

and on the South-East and South-West by property of

Emanuel Cassar and others.

(e) An area of land forming part of the Fleur-de-Lys

Government Housing Estate, limits of Qormi

consisting of the plot in the said Estate known as Plot

No. 71 having an area of approximately - 429 square

metres bounded on the North by property of the

Housing Authority and on the South and North-West

by Government property.

(f)

An area of land forming part of the Xag]ra (8th

September Avenue) Government Housing Estate,

limits of Xag]ra, Gozo, consisting of the plots in the

said Estate known as Plot Nos. 1 to 15 having an area

of approximately 3171 square metres bounded on the

North-East by 8th September Avenue and on the South

and North-West by Government property.

additional to Plot No. 84 bounded on the North by a

public road, on the South and East by property of the

Housing Authority and on the West by Government

property.

(b) The following land forming part of the Gudja (Near

School) Government Housing Estate, limits of Gudja

(i)

An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plot Nos. 8 to 10 having an area

of approximately 600 square metres bounded on

the North, South and North-East by Government

property;

(ii) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plot Nos. 20 to 32 having an

area of approximately 2915 square metres

bounded on the North, South and West by

Government property;

(iii) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plot Nos. 34 to 46 having an

area of approximately 2821 square metres

bounded on the North, South and West by

Government property.

(c) An area of land forming part of the Kirkop II

Government Housing Estate, limits of Kirkop having

an area of approximately 648 square metres which area

is to be additional to Plot Nos. 23, 29, 30, 31 and 33

bounded on the North-East and South-East by property

of the Housing Authority, and on the North-West

partly by a public road and partly by property of the

Housing Authority.

(d) The following land forming part of the Luqa

Government Housing Estate, limits of Luqa

40 square metres which area is to be additional

The property described in the Schedule is hereby specified

for the purposes of article 12 of the Housing Authority Act.

The property specified in article 2 shall be transferred and

vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the article aforesaid

with effect from the day specified in the Schedule.

Housing Estate, limits of M[arr, having an area of

approximately 23.5 square metres which area is to be

additional to Plot No. 40 bounded on the North and

West by Government property and on the South by

property of Salvatore Mizzi.

(b) An area of land forming part of the Ta’ Farzina

Government Housing Estate, limits of Qormi known as

Plot Nos. 12 to 18 and 30 having an area of

approximately 2457 square metres bounded on the

North, South and East by Government property.
