(2013) ORDER

LEGAL NOTICES 95, 146, 173, 286 and 433 of 2013, consolidated.
The title of this Order is the Housing Authority (Transfer
of Assets (2013) Order.
The property described in the Schedule is hereby specified
(Article 2)
Description of the property referred to in article 2
and appointed day
1. With effect from the 31st January, 2013
(1) House numbered 9, Trejqet il-Ġiżimin, Santa Luċija
(Tenement No. 64328 - HA 491/99).
(2) House numbered 9, Triq il-Kamelja, Santa Luċija
(Tenement No. 64318 - HA 148/99).
(3) A plot of land consisting of Plots 59 to 65 at Bubaqra
in Żurrieq, having an area of approximately 1,670
square metres and is bounded on the North-West by
Triq l-Iskultur Fabri, on the North-East by property of
the Housing Authority or its successors in title and on
the South by Triq l-Arċipriet E. Mifsud. Plots
numbered 59 to 65 are registered as Tenements bearing
numbers X05951 to X05957. The plot falls on
Government property acquired by Deed No. 18 dated
20th January, 2006 in the acts of Notary V. Miceli and
by President’s Declaration No. 497 dated 3rd May,
2012 and is shown edged in red on plan P.D.

2. With effect from the 1st March, 2013
(1) Four plots of land at tad-Dib Housing Estate in Mosta,
as follows
(a) a plot of land, known as Site A, consisting of
Plots 39 to 44 and Plots 51 to 57, having an area
of approximately 2,229.5 square metres and is
bounded on the North by Triq S. Fiteni, on the
South by Triq il-Familja Cumbo and on the West
by plots 45 to 50 allocated through the Home
Ownership Scheme. Plots 39 to 44 are registered
with the Government as Tenements X05846 to
X05491 and Plots 51 to 57 are registered with
the Government as Tenements X05498 to
X05506 and this site is shown edged in red and
marked “A” on plan P.D. 2012_700_1;
(b) a plot of land, known as Site B, consisting of
Plots 61 to 63, Plot 64, Plots 65 to 71 and Plots
78 to 81, having an area of approximately
3,065.25 square metres and is bounded on the
North by Triq il-Familja Cumbo, on the West by
Triq il-Balluta and on the East by Triq ta’
Vnezja. Plots 61 to 63 are registered with the
Government as Tenements X05508 to X05510,
Plot 64 is registered as Tenements X53393,
X53394 and X53583, Plots 65 to 71 are
registered as Tenements X05512 to X05518 and
Plots 78 to 81 are registered with the
Government as Tenements X05525 to X05528
and this site is shown edged in red and marked
“B” on plan P.D. 2012_700_1;
(c) a plot of land, known as Site C, consisting of
Plots 82 to 86 and Plots 97 to 98, having an area
of approximately 1,279.5 square metres and is
bounded on the North by Triq il-Bdoti, on the
South by property of the Housing Authority or
its successors in title and on the West by Triq ta’
Vnezja. Plots 82 to 86 are registered with the
Government as Tenements X05529 to X05533
and Plots 97 and 98 are registered with the
Government as Tenements X05544 and X05545
and this site is shown edged in red and marked
“C” on plan P.D. 2012_700_1;
(d) a plot of land, known as Site D, consisting of
Plot 90, having an area of approximately 330.75
square metres and is bounded on the East by
Triq il-Mitħna, on the West by property of the
Housing Authority or its successors in title and
on the South by Triq Alofju Wignacourt. Plot 90
is registered with the Government as Tenement
X05537 and is shown edged in red and marked
“D” on plan P.D. 2012_700_1.
All four sites were acquired by the Government by
President’s Declaration No. 815 dated the 30th of July,
2012 and by President’s Declaration No. 33 dated the
17th of January, 2013. (HAM 12/87).
(2) Five plots of land at Mqabba, as follows
(a) a plot of land, known as Site A, consisting of
Plots 12, and 14 to 19, having an area of
approximately 1,451 square metres and is
bounded on the North by Triq Dun Gerald
Mangion, on the East by Triq Nikol Zammit and
in part by property of the Housing Authority or
its successors in title. This site is shown edged
in red and marked “A” on plan P.D. 89_86_9;
(b)
a plot of land, known as Site B, consisting of
Plots 20 to 33, and 38 to 46, having an area of
approximately 4,403.6 square metres and is
bounded on the South-West by Triq il-
Katakombi and on the South and South-East by
Triq Dun Geraldu Mangion. This site is shown
edged in red and marked “B” on plan P.D.

a plot of land, known as Site C, consisting of
Plots 47 to 51, 53 to 63 and 66 to 70, having an
area of approximately 4,331.5 square metres and
is bounded on the North-West by Triq Dun
Geraldu Mangion, on the East by Triq in-
Nazzarenu and in part by property of the
Housing Authority or its successors in title and
on the West in part by Triq Dun Nikol Zammit
and in part by property of the Housing Authority
or its successors in title. This site is shown
edged in red and marked “C” on plan P.D.

a plot of land, known as Site D, consisting of
Plots 97 to 99, having an area of approximately
576.97 square metres and is bounded on the
North-West by Triq Dun Anglu Mallia, on the
West by Triq in-Nazzarenu and on the North-
East by Triq il-Hajt tal-Matla. This site is shown
edged in red and marked “D” on plan P.D.

a plot of land, known as Site E, consisting of
Plots 106 to 114, having an area of
approximately 1,631. 26 square metres and is
bounded on the North-West by Triq Filippo
Venuti, on the South-West by Triq in-Nazzarenu
and on the South-East by Triq Dun Anglu
Mallia. This site is shown edged in red and
marked “E” on plan P.D. 89_86_9.
These sites are Government property acquired by Deed
No. 194/83 dated the 7th of December, 1983, Deed No.
57/89 dated the 29th of March, 1989 in the acts of
Notary V. Miceli, Deed No. 85/88 dated the 6th of
April, 1988 in the acts of Notary V. Miceli, Deed No.
220/97 dated the 10th of December, 1997 in the acts of
Notary V. Miceli, Deed No. 423/84 dated the 8th of
August, 1984 in the acts of Notary F. Portelli, Deed
No. 357/84 dated the 23rd of May, 1984 in the acts of
Notary F. Portelli, President’s Declaration No. 614
dated the 6th of June, 2012, President’s Declaration

3. With effect from the 20th June, 2013
Two plots of land at Bubaqra in Żurrieq , as follows
(a) a plot of land, known as Site A, consisting of
Plots 20 to 22 and 40 to 42, having an area of
approximately 1,472 square metres and is
bounded on the North-West by Triq Santa
Fawstina, on the North-East by Triq San Ciru
and on the South-West by Triq Isouard Xuereb.
Plots 20 to 22 are registered as Tenements
X05911 to X05913, Plots 40 and 41 are
registered as Tenements X05931 and X05932
and Plot 42 is registered as Tenement X05934
and this site is shown edged in red and marked
“A” on plan P.D. 109_95_5;
(b) a plot of land, known as Site B, consisting of
Plots 50 to 53, having an area of approximately
768 square metres and is bounded on the North-
East by Triq Isouard Xuereb and on the South-
West and South-East by property of the Housing
Authority or its successors in title. Plots 50 to 53
are registered as Tenements X05942 to X05945
and this site is shown edged in red and marked
“B” on plan P.D. 109_95_5;
These sites are Government property acquired by Deed
No. 18 dated 20th January, 2006 and Deed No. 26
dated 4th March, 2007 both in the acts of Notary V.
Miceli and by President’s Declaration No. 533 dated
19th June, 2013. (HAM135/86).
for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority Act.
The property specified in article 2 shall be transferred and
vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the article aforesaid
with effect from the day specified in the Schedule.
With effect from the 23rd August, 2013
(1) A plot of land, known as Plot 24 at Triq il-Mitħna l-
Ġdida in Mellieħa, having an area of approximately
166.82 square metres and bounded on the North-East
by Triq il-Mitħna l-Ġdida, on the South-East by
Government property and on the North-West by
property transferred to the Housing Authority. The plot
is subject to a temporary emphyteusis as per Deed No.
234/69 dated 11th August, 1969 in the acts of Notary
A.Grech. The plot falls on part of Government
property formerly registered as Tenement No. Z50222
port. 5. and is registered in the Estate Management
Directorate records as Tenement No. 65343 and edged

in red and marked “P.24” on plan L.D. 383/91/6 (HAP
6/2013).
(2) A plot of land, consisting of 32 maisonettes, 36
garages and a substation at Triq il-Waqqafa, Ta’ Mlit
in Mosta, having an area of approximately 3, 375
square metres and is bounded on the North-East by
Triq il-Kultellazz, on the South-West by Triq l-Alwetta
and on the South-East by Triq il-Waqqafa. The plot
falls on Government property formerly part of
Tenement No. 84038 and is registered in the Estate
Management Directorate records as Property No.
E20681 and edged in red on plan P.D. 2009_40 (HAM
9/97 VOL II).
(3) House number 5, Triq ir-Rummien, San Ġwann
(Tenement No. 65622 – HA 139/99).
(4) House numbered 7, Triq il-Kamelja, Santa Luċija
(Tenement No. 64316 – HA 151/99).
With effect from the 22nd November, 2013
(1) The administration of a block known as “Okella
Agius” at 39, Triq Hal Qormi in Hamrun, consisting of
48 flats registered with the Government as Tenements
71680 to 71715 and 72741 to 72752 and is bounded on
the North-West by Triq Hal Qormi, on the North-East
and on the South-East by third party property. The
transfer shall have effect from the ground floor
upwards for the land marked, edged and shaded in red
and from the first floor upwards for the land marked
and edged in red on plan P.D. 2013_502. The land
where the block is located is in the course of being
acquired by the Government and the whole block is
shown edged in red on plan P.D. 2013_502. (HAA 113/
2012).
(2) A plot of land consisting of Plots 87 to 89 at tad-Dib
Housing Estate in Mosta, having an area of
approximately 724.50 square metres and is bounded on
the North by Triq il-Bdoti, on the South by property of
the Housing Authority or its successors in title and on
the East by Triq il-Mitħna. The plot falls on
Government property acquired by President’s
Declaration No. 880 dated the 20th of September, 2013
and by President’s Declaration No. 33 dated the 17th
of January, 2013 and is shown edged in red on plan
P.D. 2012_700_2. (HAM12/87).
(3) A block consisting of eighteen flats and twenty-one
garages at Entrances A and B in Triq Ġuże Ellul
Mercer and at Entrance E in Triq il-Gostra in Msida,
having an area of approximately 1, 101 square metres
and is bounded on the South by Triq Ġuże Ellul
Mercer, on the South-West by Triq il-Gostra and on the
North by property of the Housing Authority or its
successors in title. The block falls on Government

property acquired by Deed No. 88/95 dated the 18 th
of April, 1995 in the acts of Notary V. Miceli, by Deed
No. 51 dated the 4th of April, 2011 in the acts of
Notary D. Charles and part of an old passage. The
whole block is shown edged in red on plan P.D.

(4) A plot of land consisting of Plots 296 to 298 in Triq
Ċipru and Triq Gibilità in Naxxar, having an area of
approximately 416 square metres and is bounded on
the North-West by Triq Gibilità, on the South-East by
property of the Housing Authority or its successors in
title and on the South-West by Triq Ċipru. The plot
falls on Government property acquired by President’s
Declaration No. 70 dated 23rd January, 2012, by
President’s Declaration No. 963 dated 9th October,
2013, by President’s Declaration No. 71 dated dated
23rd January, 2012 and by Deed No. 9/97 dated 29th
November, 1997 in the acts of Notary V.Miceli and is
shown edged in red on plan P.D. 2012_469_1. (HAM
854/88).
(5) A site, falling on part of Ta’ Erba’ Mwiezeb Housing
Estate, at Triq il-Lampuki in St.Paul’s Bay, having an
area of approximately 63 square metres and is bounded
on the North-East by property transfered to the
Housing Authority, on the South-West by Government
property and on the North-West by Triq iz-Zerniq. The
site is subject to a perpetual emphyteusis as per Deed
dated 6th October, 1976 in the acts of Notary A.
Grech. The site falls on part of Government property
formerly registered as Tenement No. 50356 and is
registered in the Estate Management Directorate
records as part of Tenement No. 41564 and is shown
edged in red on plan P.D. 84_87_4. (HAP 5/2006).
(6) Two plots of land at Bubaqra in Żurrieq , as follows
(a) a plot of land, known as Site A, consisting of
Plots 1 to 5 and 15, having an area of
approximately 1, 225.45 square metres and is
bounded on the North-East by Triq il-Kan
Vincenz Balzan, on the South-East by Triq il-
Mons Pietru Pawl Pullicino and on the South-
West by Triq l-Għadir. Plots 1 to 5 are registered
as Tenements X03853 to X03857 and Plot 15 is
registered as Tenement X03867 and this site is
shown edged in red and marked “A” on plan
P.D. 11_88_7;
(b) a plot of land, known as Site B, consisting of
Plots 16 to 25, having an area of approximately
1,800.75 square metres and is bounded on the
North-East by property of the Housing
Authority or its successors in title, on the South-
West by Triq il-Kan Vincenz Balzan and on the
South-East by Triq il-Mons Pietru Pawl
Pullicino. Plots 16 to 25 are registered as
Tenements X03868 to X03877 and this site is
shown edged in red and marked “B” on plan P.D.
