HOUSING AUTHORITY (TRANSFER OF ASSETS)

(2009) ORDER

LEGAL NOTICES 6, 61, 203, 329 and 362 of 2009, consolidated.

The title of this Order is the Housing Authority (Transfer

of Assets (2009) Order.

(Article 2)

Description of the property referred to in article 2

and appointed day

1. With effect from the 2nd December, 2008

(1) Block 7 comprising twenty-six apartments and twelve

garages at Tal-Fuklar, Attard, bounded on all sides by

property belonging to the Government or more correct

boundaries, bearing Tenement No. E20504 and which

is edged in red and marked "BLK. 7" on L.D. 86/85/4.

(HAM 49/90 vol 2).

(2) A plot of land numbered Block 7 comprising ten

apartments at Tas-Sgħajtar, Naxxar, bounded on all

sides by property belonging to the Government or

more correct boundaries, bearing Tenement No.

E20507 and which is edged in red and marked "Block

7" on P.D.2008_367.(HAM3/94 vol ii).

(3) A plot of land numbered Blocks H and I comprising

fourteen apartments, nineteen garages and one shop at

Triq is-Sogħda, Tas-Sgħajtar, Naxxar, bounded on all

sides by property belonging to the Government or

more correct boundaries, bearing Tenement No.

E20509 and which is edged in red and marked "Blocks

H & I" on P.D.2008_375. (HAM 120/2000 vol 3).

(4) A plot of land numbered Plot 24, Triq il-Gladjoli, San

Āwann, bounded on all sides by property belonging to

the Government or more correct boundaries, granted

on temporary emphyteusis to Mr. Charles Bason as per

contract dated 14th February, 1970 in the acts of

Notary Dr. A. Grech, bearing Tenement No. 65471 on

which are built premises bearing number 4, known as

"St. Rita", Triq il-Gladjoli, San Āwann, and which is

edged in red and marked P. 24 on L.D. 128/80/24.

(5) A plot of land numbered as Plot 77 at Napuljun

Caruana Dingli Street, in Mellieħa, which land is

intended for the construction of two maisonettes and

three basement garages. The property is fully

Government owned and bounded on all sides by

property belonging to the Government or more correct

boundaries, bearing Tenement No. 65825 and which is

edged in red on P.D.383_91_11. (HAM 10/2005).

(6) A plot of land numbered Plot 8, Triq il-Fossa tal-

Qamħ, śejtun, bounded on all sides by property

belonging to Government or more correct boundaries,

granted on temporary emphyteusis to Mr. Emanuel

Seychell and to Ms. Mary Doris Seychell neè Caruana

as per contract dated 25th September, 1973 in the acts

of Notary Alexander Grech, registered as Tenement

66034 and which is edged in red and marked P. 8 on

L.D. 7/80/82. (HAP 5/2008).

(7) A plot of land numbered Plot 52, Triq is-Summien,

Kerëem, Gozo, bounded on all sides by property

belonging to Government or more correct boundaries,

granted on perpetual emphyteusis to Mr. Carmel Paul

Vella as per contract dated 17th June, 1997 in the acts

of Notary Dr. Enzo Dimech registered as Tenement

Z41186 and which is edged in red and marked P. 52 on

L.D. 28/98/2. (HAP 7/2008).

(8) Flat number 11, Block G, Triq Jean Houel, St. Julians

(Tenement No. 68751 – RTB 119/2004).

2. With effect from the 2nd February, 2009

(1) A plot of land known as number 5, (Plot 90), Triq it-

Tulipan, Santa Lucia, bounded on all sides by property

belonging to Governent, or more correct boundaries,

granted on perpetual emphyteusis to Mr. Paul Meli as

per contract dated 27th September, 1979, bearing

Tenement No. 40948 on which are built premises

number 5, (Plot 90), Triq it-Tulipan, Santa Lucia,

which is edged in red and marked (P. 90) No. 5 on L.D.

11/82/71 (HAP 8/2008).

(2) A plot of land containing Blocks A to G at is-Sgħajtar,

Naxxar, bounded on all sides by property belonging to

Government or more correct boundaries. These blocks

consist of 42 apartments, 49 garages and 1 substation,

bearing Tenement E20537, which is edged in red on

P.D. 2008_232 (HAM 37/98 Vol 4).

(3) Flat number 13, Block 14, Door B, Triq R. Caruana

Dingli, San Āwann (Tenement No. 71420 – RTB 81/

2002).

(4) Flat number 4 at 188E, St. Ursula Street, Valletta

(Tenement No. 62947 – RTB 20/2004).

3. With effect from the 14th May, 2009

(1) A plot of land indicated as Plot B, at Mqabba

Government Housing Estate, Mqabba, having an area

of 795.5 square metres, bounded on the North and

North West by property belonging to Government and

on the East and West by public road, forming part of

Government land acquired in virtue of deeds No. 337/

88 and 111/94 dated 23rd May 1984 and 4th May 1994

in the records of Notary V. Miceli and which is edged

in green and marked B on L.D. 89/86/4. (HAM 178/

82).

(2) A plot of land numbered Plot 147, Triq R. Caruana

Dingli, San Āwann, bounded on all sides by property

belonging to Government or more correct boundaries,

granted on perpetual emphyteusis to Mr. A. Debattista

as per contract number 126/74 dated 27th March, 1974

in the acts of Notary A. Grech and correctory deed by

contract number 107/78G dated 10th May, 1978 in the

acts of Notary A. Grech, bearing Tenement No. 40911

and which is edged in red and marked P.147 on L.D.

128/80/23. (HAP 6/2008).

(3) A plot of land numbered Plot 45, Triq il-Āiebja

Rumana, śejtun, bounded on all sides by property

belonging to Government or more correct boundaries,

granted on perpetual emphyteusis to Mr. Paul Spiteri

as per contract dated 6th August, 1980 in the acts of

Notary G. Grima, bearing Tenement No. 40983 and

which is edged in red and marked P. 45 on L.D. 7/80/

84. (HAP 4/2008).

(4) Flat number 3, Government Building, Triq L-14 ta’

Diëembru 1945, Fgura (Tenement No. 68030 - RTB

34/2008).

(5) Maisonette numbered 122 (formerly 32), Triq San

The property described in the Schedule is hereby specified

for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority Act.

The property specified in article 2 shall be transferred and

vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the article aforesaid

with effect from the day specified in the Schedule.

With effect from the 7th August, 2009

(1) A plot of land known as Plot 58, having an area of 248

square metres, at Triq Salvatore Zarb corner with Triq

Caravaggio, Ħal-Għargħur, bounded on the West and

South-West by Triq Caravaggio and on the South-East

by Triq Salvatore Zarb, registered with the Estate

Management Department as bearing Tenement No.

X07342, and which is edged in red on L.D. 2009_140.

(2) A plot of land known as Plot 103, at Triq l-Istefanotis,

San Āwann, bounded on all sides by property

belonging to the Government, or more correct

boundaries, granted on temporary emphyteusis to Mr.

Charles Yeomans as per Deed no. 13/70 dated 17th

January, 1970 in the acts of Notary A. Grech, bearing

Tenement No. 65550 and which is edged in red and

marked P. 103 on L.D. 128/80/19. (HAP 3/2009).

(3) Plots of land indicated as Plots 58 to 68, having a total

area of 2,048 square metres, at Triq il-Kaħwiela, Triq

De Hosa and Triq l-Istefanotis, Santa Lucia, bounded

on the North-West by Triq il-Kaħwiela, North-East by

Triq De Hosa and South-East by Triq l-Istefanotis,

forming part of Government land, which plots were

allocated under the Home Ownership Scheme,

registered with the Estate Management Department as

bearing Tenement No. E20721 and which are edged in

red on P.D. 11/82/113. (HAM 178/82).

(4) Unit 9 in a block known as "Clock Tower Block T1"

and car space 4 in Tignè Point, Sliema.

Unit 9 is situated at Levels 2, 3 and 4 has an area of 8

square metres at Level 2, 138 square metres at Level 3

and 134 square metres at roof level as shown on plans

P.D. 194_2004_3_A, P.D. 194_2004_4_A and P.D.

194_2004_5_A. It is accessible from an external door

situated in a common area at Level 2 shown washed in

yellow on P.D. 194_2004_3A and overlies

Government property and is bounded on the North-

East, North-West and South-East by Government

property.

Car space 4 is situated in Level 0 as shown on P.D.

194_2004_7 and is bounded on the North-West, South-

East and South-West by Government Property.

The whole block known as Clock Tower Block T1 is

bounded on all sides by the property of MIDI plc and

Unit 9 and car space 4 were erected on Government

property formerly part of ES 16355 and bearing

Tenement No. 79446 with the Estate Management

Department. (HA 580/99).

(5) A plot of land consisting of the site of front gardens in

addition to Blocks H and I, at Tas-Sgħajtar, Naxxar,

bounded on the North-East by Triq il-Qoton, on the

West by Triq Ta’ Mezzi and on the South-East by Triq

is-Sogħda, edged red on plan P.D. 2008_375_1 and

registered with the Estate Management Department as

Tenement No. E20709. (HAM 120/2000 vol 4).

(6) House numbered 101, Triq il-Belt Valletta, Paola

(Tenement No. 63914A – RTB 18/2005).

With effect from the 6th November, 2009

(1) A plot of land known as Plot 77, having an area of

129.53 square metres, in Triq il-Gladjoli, San Āwann

Neighbourhood II, San Āwann, subject to a temporary

emphyteusis for a period of 150 years commencing

from the 20th February, 1969. The said plot is bounded

on the North-East by property granted by perpetual

emphyteusis, on the South-East by Triq il-Gladjoli and

on the South-West by property transferred to the

Housing Authority, is edged red and marked P. 77 on

plan L.D. 128/80/20 and formerly formed part of

Tenement 513281. (HAP 7/2009).

(2) A plot of land at Ħal Farruā, limits of Luqa, having an

area of 6,750 square metres, consisting of Blocks J, K,

L, M and N and including 113 apartments, 107 garages

and three shops. The plot is bounded on the North-East

by Triq l-Isturnell, on the South-West by Triq ir-

Russett Abjad and on the South-East by Triq Tal-

Vitorja, registered with the Estate Management

Department as bearing Tenement E20688, and which is

edged in red on P.D. 2008_308. (HAM 46/98 vol 2).

(3) A plot of land consisting of a housing estate at Māarr,

including 22 maisonettes, 43 apartments, 127 garages

and a substation, said apartments being divided into

six blocks named A to F, having an area of 4,580

square metres, bounded on the North-West by Triq l-

AmaroŜ and Triq l-Aruna, on the East by Triq il-

Karamelli and on the South by Triq il-Ānejna,

registered with the Estate Management Department as

bearing Tenement E20636 and which is edged in red

on P.D. 2009_70. (HAM 18/2002 vol 4).

(4) A plot of land known as plot 39 in Triq il-Fraxxnu,

śabbar, granted on perpetual emphyteusis to Mr Jason

Bianco, on which is built residential property

numbered 39, Triq il-Fraxxnu, śabbar, which plot is

edged red and marked P. 39 on plan L.D. 37/81/45 and

registered in the Government Property Division

records as Tenement 41710. (HAP 2/2009).

(5) A plot of land known as Plot 117 and Site A in Triq ië-

êikas, Bulebel iŜ-śgħir, śabbar Home Ownership

Scheme, śabbar, subject to a temporary emphyteusis

for a period of 150 years commencing from the 11th

February, 1977. The said Plot and Site are bounded on

the North by Triq il-ĀiŜimina, on the East by

government property and on the West by Triq ië-êikas,

are edged red and marked Plot 117 and Site A on plan

L.D. 37/81/39 and the Plot formerly formed part of

Tenement 50771 1st portion. (HAP 1/2009).

(6) Flat numbered 2, Door 2, Block 1, Housing Estate,

Triq il-GŜira , GŜira (Tenement No. 75225 – RTB 23/

2008).
