(2008) ORDER

The title of this Order is the Housing Authority (Transfer

of Assets (2008) Order.

(Article 2)

Description of the property referred to in article 2

and appointed day

1. With effect from the 2nd January, 2008

(1) Plots of land known as "A" having an area of

approximately 480 square metres, "B" having an area

of approximately 554 square metres, "C" having an

area of approximately 1,422.50 square metres, "D"

having an area of approximately 810 square metres

and "E" having an area of approximately 660 square

metres, situated at Tal-Wata Housing Estate, limits of

Dingli, forming part of the Government Housing

Estate at G]ar Bittija, bounded on all sides by property

belonging to the Government or its successors in title,

or more correct boundaries, registered in the

Government Property Division’s records bearing

Tenement Acquisition No. 15246 and which are edged

in red and marked "A", "B", "C", "D" and "E"

respectively on plan P.D. 2006_995. (HAM 131/86).

(2) A plot of land known as Plot No. 9 at Triq il-31 ta’

Marzu, G]arg]ur, bounded on all sides by property

belonging to the Government or its successors in title,

or more correct boundaries, granted on emphyteusis to

Anthony Azzopardi as per contract dated 15th October,

1975 in the acts of Notary Doctor Alexander Grech,

bearing Tenement No. 41177 and which is edged in red

and marked "P.9" on plan L.D. 155/84/5. (HAP 12/

(3) A plot of land known as Plot No. 161 at Triq Vincenzo

Ciappara, Ta’ Pennellu, Mellie]a, bounded on all sides

by property belonging to the Government or its

successors in title, or more correct boundaries, granted

on perpetual emphyteusis to Salvatore Mifsud and

Jane Mifsud as per deed dated 31st January 2006 in the

acts of Notary Mary sive Mariella Mizzi bearing

Tenement No. 40899 on which are built the premises

belonging to Government or its successors in title, or

(5) A plot of land known as 66 (Plot 73) at Triq l-

property belonging to Government, granted on

perpetual emphyteusis to Carmen Blundell as per deed

dated the 22nd March 1996 in the acts of Notary

Vincent Miceli bearing Tenement No. 41920 on which

are built the premises number 66 "Kavinja" (Plot 73),

Triq l-Istefanotis San {wann, and which is edged in

red and marked "P.73" on plan L.D.128/80/20 and as

Tenement No. 66028 and which is edged in red and

The property described in the Schedule is hereby specified

for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority Act.

The property specified in article 2 shall be transferred and

vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the article aforesaid

with effect from the day specified in the Schedule.

With effect from the 17th June, 2008

(1) A plot of land known as Plot No. 31, in Triq i`-~edru,

San {wann, bounded on all sides by property

belonging to the Government or more correct

boundaries, granted on perpetual emphyteusis to Mr.

Victor Sciberras as per contract dated 28th March,

1978 in the acts of Notary Joseph Raphael Darmanin,

bearing Tenement No. 65196 on which are built

premises "Captina" (Plot 31) Triq i`-~edru, San

{wann, and which is edged in red and marked "P.31"

on L.D. 135/81/46 (HAP 5/2007).

(2) Plots numbered 55 to 60, having an area of

approximately 901 square metres, at Tal-Bebbux II,

|urrieq, bounded on all sides by property belonging to

the Government or more correct boundaries. The

above mentioned land bears Acquisition no. 14830 -

Plot 6 and is edged in red on P.D 11_88_6 (HAM 181/

82).

developed into 30 apartments and 30 garages, bearing

Tenement No. E20502 and which is edged in red on

(2) A plot of land at Triq Cassarino, Bugibba, St. Paul’s

Bay, bounded on all sides by property belonging to

Government or more correct boundaries, which land

has been developed into eight apartments and six

garages, bearing Tenement No. E20496 and which is

edged in red on P.D.2008_278. (HAM 16/95 vol. 2).

(3) A plot of land at Triq Spanja, Naxxar, bounded on all

sides by property belonging to Government or more

correct boundaries, which land was divided into three
