HOUSING AUTHORITY (TRANSFER OF ASSETS)

(1995) ORDER

LEGAL NOTICES 5, 19, 58, 89, 148 and 180 of 1995, consolidated.

The title of this Order is the Housing Authority (Transfer

of Assets) (1995) Order.

(Article 2)

Description of the property referred to in article 2

and appointed day

1. With effect from the 30th November, 1994

(1) An area of land forming part of the Swieqi

Government Housing Estate, limits of St. Julians,

having an area of approximately 1,644 square metres,

bounded on the North by Triq il-Wasliet, on the

South-East by Triq is-Sidra and on the East by Triq

il-G]ajn, edged green on L.D. 80/84/5.

(2) An area of land forming part of Is-Sg]ajtar

Government Housing Estate, limits of Naxxar, having

an area of approximately 428 square metres, bounded

on the North by Triq il-Qoton, on the South-East by

Triq l-G]akkies, and on the North-West partly by

Government property and partly by property of Joseph

Grixti, edged green on L.D. 142/81/13. There also

exists on the South-West a window easement at first

floor of T.H. 68 in Triq l-G]akkies.

(3) Flat number 2, Entrance D, Appartamenti l-21 ta’

Settembru, 1964 in Triq il-Villa ta’ l-Ammirall,

Kalkara (Tenement No. 76641).

2. With effect from the 18th January, 1995

(1) The following land at Ta’ |wejt, limits of Birkirkara,

as hereunder indicated

(a) A plot of land having an area of approximately

680 square metres bounded on the North-West

Alessio Xuereb and on the South-West by John

Mary Borg, edged green and indicated as Plot A

on L.D. 100/92;

(b) A plot of land having an area of approximately

272 square metres bounded on the North-West

by Triq {u\e Borg, on the South-West by

Anthony Montfort and on the North-East by

Charles Darmanin, edged green and indicated as

Plot B on L.D. 100/92.

The said plots form part of Government land acquired

in virtue of the Building Development Areas Act, Cap.

303. (2) A plot of land at Nadur, Gozo, having an area of

approximately 1,540 square metres, bounded on the

South by Triq Tal-}ali, on the East by Triq Bin[emma

and on the West by Government property, edged green

on L.D. 26/83/3.

(3) Flat number 4, Appartamenti Indipendenza, Maria De

Dominicis Street, Santa Lucia (Tenement No. 76314).

(4) Flat number 4, Block B2, Triq l-Erba’ Mwie\eb, St

Paul’s Bay.

(5) Flat number 2 at number 138, Archbishop Street,

by Government property, edged green and

marked A on L.D. 91 B/90;

(b) A plot of land having an area of approximately

652.8 square metres bounded on the North and

on the South by Government property and on the

West by Triq it-Tuffie], edged green and

marked B on L.D. 91 B/90;

(c) A plot of land having an area of approximately

400.5 square metres bounded on the North-West

by Government property, on the South-East by

Triq l-Ingilterra and on the South-West by Triq

Korfu, edged green and marked C on L.D. 91 B/

90; and

(d) A plot of land having an area of approximately

833.5 square metres bounded on the North-East

by Triq l-Ar[entina, on the South-East by Triq

l-Ingilterra and on the South-West by Triq

The property described in the Schedule is hereby specified

for the purposes of article 12 of the Housing Authority Act.

The property specified in article 2 shall be transferred and

vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the article aforesaid

with effect from the day specified in the Schedule.

With effect from the 31st May, 1995

(1) A plot of land forming part of the Mqabba Government

Housing Estate, limits of Mqabba, having an area of

approximately 1,797.5 square metres, bounded on the

South, on the East and on the West by public road,

indicated as Plot A and edged green on L.D. 89/86/4.

(1) An area of land forming part of the Iklin Government

Housing Estate, limits of Birkirkara, having an area of

approximately 491 square metres, bounded on the

South partly by Triq Anton Buttigieg and partly by

land transferred to the Housing Authority by Legal

Notice No. 35 of 1983, on the East partly by public

open space and partly by land transferred to the

Housing Authority by Legal Notice No. 35 of 1983,

and on the West partly by Triq Censu Busuttil and

partly by land transferred to the Housing Authority by

Legal Notice No. 35 of 1983, edged green on L.D.

190/82/17.

(2) An area of land forming part of the |ejtun Government

Housing Estate, limits of |ejtun, having an area of

approximately 68 square metres and adjacent to house

numbered 7, Triq Xatbet l-Andar, bounded on the

North-East by property of Mario Bonello, on the

South-East by property of John Cassar and on the

South-West by Triq Xatbet l-Andar, edged red on L.D.

7/80/5.

(3) House numbered 81, Triq il-Kemmun }elu, |ejtun

(Tenement No. 68814).

(4) A block of six maisonettes and eight underlying

garages in Triq il-Wil[a, corner with Triq i\-|urrieq,

Luqa, as hereunder indicated

Four maisonettes are all accessible from a

separate external door unofficially numbered 1

to 4 in Triq il-Wil[a, and two other maisonettes

both accessible from a separate external door

unofficially numbered 5 and 6 in Triq

i\-|urrieq.

Eight underlying garages are all accessible from

a Ramp down to basement level leading to a

common area, having an external door

unofficially numbered 1 to 8 in Triq i\-|urrieq,

as shown in yellow on L.D. 191/95.

Boundaries also include an undivided share of

the ramp down to the common area shown

yellow on the quoted plan.

The whole block of maisonettes and garages

mentioned above are bounded together on the

North-West by Triq il-Wil[a, on the South-West

by Triq i\-|urrieq and on the North-East by

property of Joseph Magri.

These maisonettes No. 1 to 6 and garages Nos. 1

to 8 are shown edged red on L.D. 191/95.

(5) An area of land forming part of Il-Wil[a Government

Housing Estate, limits of Luqa, having an area of

approximately 861 square metres, bounded on the

South by Triq il-Mitjar, on the East by property of

Joseph Debono and on the West by Triq Gavino

Camilleri, edged red on L.D. 68/92/3.

(6) A block of 44 maisonettes at Dingli Housing Estate,

Phase III, situated in Triq il-Gvernatur William Reid

corner with Triq il-}emda, Dingli, as hereunder

indicated

16 maisonettes all accessible from a separate

external door unofficially numbered 1 to 8 and

37 to 44 in Triq il-Gvernatur William Reid.

Six maisonettes all accessible from a separate

external door unofficially numbered 9 to 14 in

Triq il-}emda.

16 maisonettes all accessible from a separate

external door unofficially numbered 15 to 30 in

Triq Francesco Zammit.

Six maisonettes all accessible from a separate

external door unofficially numbered 31 to 36 in

a public open space.

The whole block of maisonettes mentioned

above are bounded together on the North-East

by Triq Francesco Zammit, on the South-East by

Triq il-}emda and on the South-West by Triq

il-Gvernatur William Reid.

These maisonettes Nos. 1 to 44 are shown edged

red on L.D. 192/95/1.

(7) A block of 12 maisonettes and nine underlying garages

at Neighbourhood II Phase V in Triq Bice Mizzi

Vassallo, Santa Lucia, as hereunder indicated

12 maisonettes all accessible from a separate

external door unofficially numbered 1 to 12 in

Triq Bice Mizzi Vassallo and they also include a

front and side garden as shown on L.D. 11/82/

59. Nine underlying garages all accessible from a

separate external door unofficially numbered 1

to 9 in a road at the back of said maisonettes.

The said garages underly maisonettes No. 1 to 6.

The whole block of maisonettes and garages

mentioned above are bounded together on the

North-West by Triq Maria De Domenicis, on the

South-West by Triq Bice Mizzi Vassallo and on

the South-East by Triq il-Prinjoli.

These maisonettes No. 1 to 12 and garages Nos 1

to 9 are shown edged red on L.D. 11/82/59.
