The title of this Order is the Master of Advocacy Order.

Laws of Malta — Subsidiary Legislation 12.31 — Ordni dwar il-Master fl-Avokatura

For the purposes of, and in terms of, paragraph of

article81(c) of the Code of Organization and Civil Procedure, the

degree of Master of Advocacy (M. Adv.) approved by the Senate of

the University of Malta as required by article 81(2) of the Education

Act and offered by the Faculty of Laws of the University of Malta, as

published in the Gazette by the Bye-Laws for the Degree of Master

of Advocacy - M.Adv. - and for the Degree of Master of Notarial

Studies- M.Not.St. - under the auspices of the Faculty of Laws, is

hereby prescribed as the other qualification at master’s level in terms

of article 81(c) of the Code of Organization and Civil Procedure

which entitles a holder thereof to sit for the examination to obtain a

warrant to practice as an advocate.
