Mutual Recognition of Qualifications of Veterinary Surgeons
(Amendment) Regulations, 2026
IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 45A of the
Veterinary Services Act, the Minister responsible for veterinary
services has made the following regulations:-
(1) The title of these regulations is the Mutual Citation and
Recognition of Qualifications of Veterinary Surgeons (Amendment) scope.
Regulations, 2026 and these regulations shall be read and construed as
one with the Mutual Recognition of Qualifications of Veterinary S.L. 437.43.
Surgeons Regulations, hereinafter referred to as the "principal
regulations".
(2) The scope of these regulations is to transpose the
Commission Delegated Decision (EU) 2025/2187 of 30 July 2025
amending Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the
Council as regards the evidence of formal qualifications and the titles
of training courses.
