Commencement Notice

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 1(2) of the

Various Laws (Personal Autonomy) (Amendment) Act, 2026 the

Minister responsible for the rights of persons with disability has

established 17th July 2026 as the date on which the provisions of

articles 10, 17(a) and 30 of the said Act shall come into force.
