Commencement Notice

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 1(2) of the

Various Financial Services Laws (Amendment) Act, 2025 the Minister

responsible for the regulation of financial services, acting on the

advice of the Malta Financial Services Authority, has established that

articles 5(f), 9(a)(i) and 9(b) (but only with respect to paragraph (j)),

11, 13, 18(c) and 19 of the said Act shall come into force on 1st

January 2026.
