Emergency Euthanasia of Animals (Amendment) Regulations, 2025
IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 7(2) of the
Animal Welfare Act, the Minister responsible for veterinary services
has made the following regulations:-

Reg. 1 Citation. — Emergency Euthanasia of Animals (Amendment) Regulations, 2025

The title of these regulations is the Emergency Euthanasia
of Animals (Amendment) Regulations, 2025 and these regulations
shall be read and construed as one with the Emergency Euthanasia of
Animals Regulations, hereinafter referred to as the "principal
regulations".

Reg. 2 Amends regulation 2 of the principal regulations. — Emergency Euthanasia of Animals (Amendment) Regulations, 2025

In regulation 2 of the principal regulations the definition
"Director" shall be substituted by the following new definition
" "Director" means the Director for Animal Welfare;".
