Urban Waste Water Treatment (Amendment) Regulations, 2024

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by articles 54 and 55 of

the Environment Protection Act, the Minister responsible for the

environment, after consultation with the Environment and Resources

Authority, has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Urban Waste Water

Treatment (Amendment) Regulations, 2024 and these regulations shall

be read and construed as one with the Urban Waste Water Treatment

Regulations, hereinafter referred to as the "principal regulations".

Annex II to the principal regulations shall be amended as

follows

(a) the heading "C. DESIGNATED SENSITIVE

AREAS" and the table thereof shall be deleted; and

(b) the heading "D - MAP ILLUSTRATING

DESIGNATED SENSITIVE AREAS" and the map thereof shall

be deleted.
