Public Procurement of Entities operating in the Water, Energy,

Transport and Postal Services Sectors (Amendment)

Regulations, 2024

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 4 of the Public

Finance Management Act, the Minister responsible for finance has

made the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Public

Procurement of Entities operating in the Water, Energy, Transport and

Postal Services Sectors (Amendment) Regulations, 2024 and these

regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Public

Procurement of Entities operating in the Water, Energy, Transport and

Postal Services Sectors Regulations hereinafter referred to as the

"principal regulations."

(2) These regulations shall come into force on such date or

dates as the Minister responsible for finance may by notice in the

Gazette establish.

Sub-regulation (1) of regulation 30 of the principal

regulations shall be amended as follows

(a) in paragraph (a) thereof the words "four hundred and

thirty-one thousand euro (€431,000)" shall be substituted by the

words "four hundred forty three thousand euro (€443,000)"; and

(b) in paragraph (b) thereof the words "four hundred and

thirty-one thousand euro (€431,000)" shall be substituted by the

words "four hundred forty three thousand euro (€443,000)".

Schedule 5 to the principal regulations shall be amended as

(a) in item (a) thereof the figure "EUR 431,000" shall be

substituted by the figure "€443,000";

(b) in item (b) thereof the figure "EUR 5,382,000" shall

be substituted by the figure "€5,538,000"; and

(c) in item (c) thereof the figure "EUR 1,000,000" shall

be substituted by the figure "€1,000,000".
