Public Procurement (Amendment) Regulations, 2024

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 4 of the Public

Finance Management Act, the Minister responsible for finance has

made the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Public Citation and

Procurement (Amendment) Regulations, 2024 and these regulations commencement.

shall be read and construed as one with the Public Procurement S.L. 601.03.

Regulations, hereinafter referred to as the "principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall come into force on such date or

dates as the Minister responsible for finance may by notice in the

Gazette establish.

Sub-regulation (1) of regulation 9 of the principal Amends

regulation 9 of

regulations shall be amended as follows

regulations.

(a) in paragraph (a) thereof the words "one hundred forty

thousand euro (€140,000)" shall be substituted by the words "one

hundred forty three thousand euro (€143,000)"; and

(b) in paragraph (b) thereof the words "one hundred forty

thousand euro (€140,000)" shall be substituted by the words"one

hundred forty three thousand euro (€143,000)".

Paragraph (k) of sub-regulation (2) of regulation 79 of the Amends

regulation 79 of

principal regulations shall be amended as follows

regulations .

(a) in sub-paragraph (ii) thereof the words "one hundred

and forty thousand euro (€140,000)" shall be substituted by the

words "one hundred and forty three thousand (€143,000)"; and

(b) in sub-paragraph (iii) thereof the words "one hundred

and forty thousand euro (€140,000)" shall be substituted by the

words "one hundred forty three thousand euro (€143,000)".

Schedule 5 to the principal regulations shall be amended as Amends

Schedule 5 to

the principal

regulations.

(a) in item (a) thereof the figure "EUR 5,382,000" shall

be substituted by the figure "€5,538,000";

(b) in item (b) thereof the figure "EUR 140,000" shall be

substituted by the figure "€143,000";

(c) in item (c) thereof the figure "EUR 215,000" shall be

substituted by the figure "€221,000"; and

(d) in item (d) thereof the figure "EUR 750,000" shall be

substituted by the figure "€750,000".
