Master of Arts in International Humanitarian Action - M.A. -

Degree Course (Amendment) Regulation, 2024,

under the auspices of the Faculty of Arts

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred upon him by articles 74(5) and 75(6) of the

Education Act (Cap. 327), the Chancellor of the University of Malta has promulgated

the following regulation made by the Senate of the University of Malta by virtue of

the powers conferred upon it by articles 75(3) and 79(b) of the said Act

Citation

This regulation may be cited as the Master of Arts in International Humanitarian

Action - M.A. - Degree Course (Amendment) Regulation, 2024, under the auspices

of the Faculty of Arts and shall be read and construed as one with the Master of Arts

in International Humanitarian Action - M.A. - Degree Course Regulations, 2017,

under the auspices of the Faculty of Arts, published as Legal Notice 30 of 2018,

hereinafter referred to as the “principal regulations”.

Applicability

This regulation shall be applicable from 1 October 2024 onwards.

Amendment to regulation 13 of the principal regulations

Dan ir-regolament jista’ jissejjaħ bħala r-Regolament tal-2024 biex jemenda

r-Regolamenti tal-Kors għall-Grad ta’ Master of Arts in International Humanitarian

Action – M.A. – taħt il-patroċinju tal-Fakultà tal-Arti u għandu jinqara u jinftiehem

bħala ħaġa waħda mar-Regolamenti tal-2017 tal-Kors għall-Grad ta’ Master of Arts

in International Humanitarian Action – M.A. – taħt il-patroċinju tal-Fakultà tal-Arti,

ippubblikati bħala Avviż Legali 30 tal-2018, li minn hawn ’il quddiem jissejjħu “ir-

regolamenti prinċipali”.

L-Applikabilità

Dan ir-regolament għandu japplika mill-1 ta’ Ottubru, 2024 ’il quddiem.

L-Emenda għar-regolament 13 tar-regolamenti prinċipali

For paragraph (2) of regulation 13 of the principal regulations there

shall be substituted the following

“(2) The names of students who qualify for the award of the Degree shall

be published in a list in alphabetical order; provided that students who qualify for a

Degree from this University in terms of paragraph (4) of regulation 1 of the principal

regulations shall be classified as follows

Pass with Distinction

Pass with Merit

Pass.”
