Establishment and Composition of the National Platform

for the Prevention of Corruption in Sport

(Amendment) Regulations, 2024

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 73 of the

Sports Governance and Integrity Act, the Minister responsible for

sports, acting on the advice of the Authority for Integrity in Maltese

Sport, has made the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Establishment and

Composition of the National Platform for the Prevention of Corruption

in Sport (Amendment) Regulations, 2024 and these regulations shall

be read and construed as one with the Establishment and Composition

of the National Platform for the Prevention of Corruption in Sport

Regulations, hereinafter referred to as the "principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into force

on 1st March 2024.

In sub-regulation (4) of regulation 5 of the principal

regulations, the words "of the Authority" shall be substituted by the

words "of the platform".

In sub-regulation (1) of regulation 6 of the principal

regulations, the words "chaired and coordinated" shall be substituted

by the word "coordinated".
