Fort Chambray (Designated Special Area)

(Amendment) Order, 2024

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 2 of the

Immovable Property (Acquisition by Non-Residents) Act, the Minister

responsible for finance has made the following order:-

The title of this order is the Fort Chambray (Designated

Special Area) (Amendment) Order, 2024, and this order shall be read

and construed as one with the Fort Chambray (Designated Special

Area) Order, hereinafter referred to as the "principal order".

In article 2 of the principal order, the words "shown

outlined in red in a plan marked as Document X enrolled in the records

of Notary Public in the Lands Department Dr. Vincent Miceli by Deed

No. 121 dated 13th April, 1993 (hereinafter referred to as the Special

Area)" shall be substituted by the words "consisting of immovable

property which is defined as the "Emphyteutical Land" in the deed in

the records of Notary Public Dr. Vincent Miceli dated 24th January

2005, as shown delineated in red on a plan indicated as "Property

Division number two hundred and fifty-four underscore two thousand

and four" attached as document marked "X" to the said deed".

Articles 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of the principal order shall be

deleted.

The First Schedule and the Second Schedule to the

principal order shall be deleted.
