Immovable Property (Acquisition by Non-Residents) Act

(Amendment of First Schedule) Regulations, 2024

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 8 of the

Immovable Property (Acquisition by Non-Residents) Act, the Minister

responsible for finance has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Immovable Property

(Acquisition by Non-Residents) Act (Amendment of First Schedule)

Regulations, 2024 and these regulations shall be read and construed as

one with the First Schedule to the Immovable Property (Acquisition by

Non-Residents) Act, hereinafter referred to as the "First Schedule".

In item 1 of the First Schedule, the words "shown outlined

in red in a plan marked as Document X enrolled in the records of

Notary Public in the Lands Department Dr. Vincent Miceli by Deed

No. 121 dated 13th April, 1993" shall be substituted by the words

"consisting of immovable property which is defined as the

"Emphyteutical Land" in the deed in the records of Notary Public Dr.

Vincent Miceli dated 24th January 2005, as delineated in red on a plan

indicated as "Property Division number two hundred and fifty-four

underscore two thousand and four" attached as document marked "X"

to the said deed".
