Traffic Signs and Carriageway Markings

(Amendment) Regulations, 2024

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 54 of the

Traffic Regulation Ordinance, the Minister responsible for transport,

after consultation with the Authority for Transport in Malta, has made

the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Traffic Signs and

Carriageway Markings (Amendment) Regulations, 2024 and these

regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Traffic Signs

and Carriageway Markings Regulations, hereinafter referred to as the

"principal regulations".

Item (d) of Section B ("Indication") of Part III

("INFORMATIVE SIGNS") of the Schedule to the principal

regulations shall be substituted by the following new item

"(d) This sign conveys the information that the place is

reserved for the parking of vehicles which have the Blue Badge

displayed as provided for by the Parking Concessions for

Persons with Disability Act (Cap. 560), and that vehicles which

are parked in this place illegally shall be towed away without

prior notice.".
