Temporary Suspension of certain provisions relating to Public

Procurement (Amendment) Regulations, 2023

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 4 of the Public

Finance Management Act, the Minister responsible for finance has

made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Temporary Suspension

of certain provisions relating to Public Procurement (Amendment)

Regulations, 2023 and these regulations shall be read and construed as

one with the Temporary Suspension of certain provisions relating to

Public Procurement Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the

principal regulations".

In paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (1) of regulation 3 of the

principal regulations, the words "on or before the 24th February,

2022;" shall be substituted by the words "on or before the 30th

September, 2022;".

In regulation 7 of the principal regulations, the words

"expire six (6) months from the publication of these regulations," shall

be substituted by the words "expire on the 31st July 2023,".
