Certificate in Engineering Sciences
Course (Amendment) Regulation, 2023
IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred upon him by articles 74 (5) and 75 (6) of the
Education Act (Cap. 327), the Chancellor of the University of Malta has promulgated
the following regulations made by the Senate of the University of Malta by virtue of
the powers conferred upon it by articles 75 (3) and 79 (b) of the said Act
Citation
This regulation may be cited as the Certificate in Engineering Sciences
Course (Amendment) Regulation, 2023 and shall be read and construed as one with
the Certificate in Engineering Sciences Course Regulations, 2020, published as Legal
Notice 396 of 2020, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations.”
Applicability
This regulation shall be applicable for courses commencing in October
2023 or later.
Amendment to regulation 3 of the principal regulations
For sub-paragraph (b) of paragraph (1) of regulation 3 of the principal
regulations there shall be substituted the following
“or (b) be in possession of a diploma in an engineering domain which
the Board deems as appropriate, classified at MQF Level 4, as well as passes in
the Secondary Education Certificate Examination at Grade 5 or better in English
Language, Maltese and Mathematics.”
