Students Maintenance Grants (Amendment No. 2)

Regulations, 2023

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 70 of the

Education Act, the Minister responsible for education has made the

following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Students Maintenance

Grants (Amendment No. 2) Regulations, 2023 and these regulations

shall be read and construed as one with the Students Maintenance

Grants Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the principal

regulations".

In paragraph (e) of sub-regulation (1) of regulation 4 of the

principal regulations, the words "more than twenty-five hours weekly"

shall be substituted by the words "more than thirty (30) hours a week".

In regulation 10 of the principal regulations, the words "of

more than twenty-five hours a week" shall be substituted by the words

"of more than thirty (30) hours a week".
