Repealing Regulations, 2023

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 37 of the

Regulator for Energy and Water Services Act, and article 4 of the

Public Finance Management Act, the Minister responsible for energy

and water services after consultation with the Regulator for Energy

and Water Services, and the Minister responsible for finance have

made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Repealing Regulations,

2023.

The regulations listed hereunder, issued under the

Regulator for Energy and Water Services Act, and the Public Finance

Management Act, are hereby being repealed

(a) Competitive Bidding Rules for Renewable Sources of

Energy Installation Regulations; and

(b) Competitive Bidding Rules for Renewable Sources of

Energy Installation (Capacity from 400kWp up to less than

1000kWp) Regulations

Provided that, the Competitive Bidding Rules for

Renewable Sources of Energy Installation (Capacity from 40kW up to

less than 1000kW) Regulations shall remain in force in their entirety.

Any act, decision or action taken before the coming into

force of the Repealing Regulations, 2023 shall continue to be regulated

by the provisions of the regulations referred to in regulation 2 of these

regulations as in force prior to the coming into force of the Repealing

Regulations, 2023.
