Commissioners for Justice Act (Schedule)

(Amendment) Regulations, 2023

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 13 of the

Commissioners for Justice Act, the Minister responsible for justice,

has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Commissioners for

Justice Act (Schedule) (Amendment) Regulations, 2023 and these

regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Schedule to the

Commissioners for Justice Act, hereinafter referred to as "the

Schedule".

The Schedule shall be amended as follows

(a) immediately after the item "Mdina (Restriction of

Access and Transit of Vehicles) Regulations" there shall be

added the following new item

"Light Passenger Transport

Regulations 15, 17,

Services and Vehicle Hire

19 to 27, 28(2), 30,

Services Regulations

32 to 35, 52 and

54"; and

(b) immediately after the item "Taxi Services

Regulations" there shall be added the following new item

"Light Passenger Transport

Regulations 15, 17,

Services and Vehicle Hire

19 to 27, 28(2), 30,

Services Regulations

32 to 35, 52 and

54".

All offences committed after the entry into force of these

regulations in breach of the regulations referred to in regulation 2, shall

be deemed as infringements and may be tried by the Commissioners for

Justice.
