DANGEROUS DRUGS ORDINANCE

(CAP. 101)

Dangerous Drugs Ordinance (Amendment of

First Schedule) Order, 2023

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 10(3) of the

Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, the Minister responsible for public health

has made the following order:-

The title of this order is the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance

(Amendment of First Schedule) Order, 2023 and this order shall be

read and construed as one with the First Schedule to the Dangerous

Drugs Ordinance, hereinafter referred to as "the First Schedule".

Part I of the First Schedule shall be amended as follows

(a) immediately

before

the

item

"ETHYLMETHYLTHIAMBUTENE" there shall be added the

new item "ETAZENE, 2-[(4-ethoxyphenyl)methyl]-N,N-diethyl-

1H-benzimidazole-1-ethanamine";

(b) immediately after the item "ETONITAZENE" there

shall be added the new item "ETONITAZEPYNE, 2-[(4-

ethoxyphenyl)methyl]-5-nitro-1-(2-pyrrolidin-1-ylethyl)-1H-

benzoimidazole";

(c) immediately

before

the

item

"METHYLDESORPHINE" there shall be added the new item

"2-methyl-AP-237, 1-{2-methyl-4-[(2E)-3-phenylprop-2-en-1-

yl]piperazin-1-yl}butan-1-one"; and

(d) immediately after the item "PROPERIDINE" there

shall be added the new item "PROTONITAZENE, N,N-diethyl-

5-nitro-2-[(4-propoxyphenyl)methyl]-1-H-benzimidazole-1-

ethanamine".
