Mutual Recognition of Qualifications of Veterinary Surgeons

(Amendment) Regulations, 2022

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 45A of the

Veterinary Services Act, the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries, Food

and Animal Rights has made the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is Mutual Recognition

of Qualifications of Veterinary Surgeons (Amendment) Regulations,

2022 and these regulations shall be read and construed as one with the

Mutual Recognition of Qualifications of Veterinary Surgeons

Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

(2) The scope of these regulations is to transpose Commission

Delegated Decision (EU) 2021/2183 of 25 August 2021 amending

Annex V to Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of

the Council as regards the evidence of formal qualifications and titles

of training courses.

Schedule I to the principal regulations shall be substituted

by the following new Schedule
