Bye-Laws of 2022 to amend the Bye-Laws of 2019 in terms of the

General Regulations for University Undergraduate Awards, 2019 for the

Degree of Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics, Medical Physics and

Radiation Protection - B.Sc. (Hons) -

under the auspices of the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Science

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred upon him by articles 74 (5) and 75 (6) of the

Education Act (Cap. 327), the Chancellor of the University of Malta has promulgated

the following bye-laws made by the Board of the Faculty of Science in virtue of the

powers conferred upon it by article 81 (1) (c) of the said Act and which have been

approved by the Senate of the University of Malta as required by article 81 (2) of the

said Act

Citation

These bye-laws may be cited as the Bye-Laws of 2022 to amend the

Bye-Laws of 2019 in terms of the General Regulations for University Undergraduate

Awards, 2019 for the Degree of Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics, Medical

Physics and Radiation Protection and shall be read and construed as one with the

Bye-Laws of 2019 in terms of the General Regulations for University Undergraduate

Awards, 2019 for the Degree of Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics, Medical

Physics and Radiation Protection under the auspices of the Faculty of Health Science

and the Faculty of Science, published as Legal Notice 288 of 2019, hereinafter

referred to as “the principal bye-laws”.

Applicability

These bye-laws shall be applicable for courses commencing in October

2022 or later.

Deletion of bye-law 4 of the principal bye-laws

Bye-law 4 of the principal bye-laws shall be deleted.

Renumbering of bye-laws 5 to 11 of the principal bye-laws

Bye-laws 5 to 11 of the principal Bye-laws shall be renumbered as Bye-

laws 4 to 10.
