Master of Dental Surgery - M.D.S. - Degree Course (Amendment) Regulations,

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred upon him by articles 74 (5) and 75 (6) of the

Education Act (Cap. 327), the Chancellor of the University of Malta has promulgated

the following regulations made by the Senate of the University of Malta by virtue of

the powers conferred upon it by articles 75 (3) and 79 (b) of the said Act

Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Master of Dental Surgery - M.D.S.

- Degree Course (Amendment) Regulations, 2022 and shall be read and construed

as one with the Master of Dental Surgery - M.D.S. - Degree Course Regulations,

2014, published as Legal Notice 101 of 2014, hereinafter referred to as the “principal

regulations”.

Applicability

Dawn ir-regolamenti jistgħu jissejħu bħala r-Regolamenti tal-2022 biex

jemendaw ir-Regolamenti tal-Kors għall-Grad ta’ Master of Dental Surgery – M.D.S.

– u għandhom jinqraw u jinftiehmu bħala ħaġa waħda mar-Regolamenti tal-2014 tal-

Kors għall-Grad ta’ Master of Dental Surgery – M.D.S. – li ġew ippubblikati bħala

Avviż Legali 101 tal-2014, li minn hawn ’il quddiem jissejħu bħala “r-regolamenti

prinċipali”.

L-Applikabilità

These regulations shall be applicable for courses commencing in

October 2022 or later.

Amendment to regulation 4 of the principal regulations

For paragraph (1) of regulation 4 of the principal regulations there shall be

substituted the following

“4. (1) Senate on the advice of the Board, may limit the number of students

that may be admitted to the Course. In such circumstances, Senate shall make

regulations for the selection of applicants for admission. Prior to the commencement

of the Course, the Board shall announce the number of places available to Maltese

and other EU/EEA nationals, to non-EU/EEA nationals, and to candidates applying

in terms of paragraph (4) of regulation 4.”

għall-għażla tal-applikanti għad-dħul. Qabel il-bidu tal-Kors, il-Bord għandu jħabbar

in-numru ta’ postijiet disponibbli għall-kandidati li huma ta’ nazzjonalità Maltija u

ċittadini oħrajn tal-UE/ŻEE, għall-kandidati li mhumiex ċittadini tal-UE/ŻEE, u

għall-kandidati li japplikaw skont il-paragrafu (4) tar-regolament 4.”
