Commencement Notice

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 1(2) of the

Criminal Code (Amendment No. 2) Act, 2022, the Minister

responsible for Justice has established the following dates as the dates

on which the provisions of the same Act shall come into force

(a) the 25th April 2022 with regard to the provisions of

articles 2 and 13;

(b) the 27th June 2022 with regard to the provisions of

article 3;

(c) the 25th July 2022 with regard to the provisions of

articles 9 and 10;

(d) the 31st October 2022 with regard to the provisions of

articles 11 and 12; and

(e) the 28th November 2022 with regard to the

provisions of articles 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
