Organised Mass Events

(Amendment) Regulations, 2021

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 26 of the

Public Health Act, the Minister responsible for public health, after

consultation with the Superintendent of Public Health, has made the

following regulations

The title of these regulations is the Organised Mass Events

(Amendment) Regulations, 2021 and these regulations shall be read

L.N. 78 of 2021. and construed as one with Organised Mass Events Regulations, 2021

hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

Regulation 2 of the principal regulations shall be

substituted by the following

"2. All organised mass events shall be prohibited except

for funerals

Provided that funerals may only be held in strict

adherence with the standards published by the Superintendent of

Public Health.".
